Im a big fan of thai food and the food here was not authentic thai at all.. lack of flavor and boring. The price in my opinion was too expensive for the quality. Service was friendly, but at the end they've added some extra charge for using foreign card in which they explained that it because theres a currency conversion fee, even though I paid in the local currency so it didnt make sense at all. Over all I dont think it was terrible, but was disappointed and will not come again.

Poonchai Thai Restaurant — 3.5/5 Located at 1 Istedgade, literally 2 mins from Copenhagen Central Station — very convenient. Interior is cosy with nice Thai decor and warm lighting. We ordered: Satay Kylling (69 DKK), Stegte Ris (179 DKK), Pad Thai (179 DKK), Grøn Curry (189 DKK) — so portions were quite good for sharing (see photos). Taste was just ok ok — decent but not super authentic / flavorful. On the pricey side — total 750 DKK for 3 dishes + drinks as per bill. So value for money is low. Overall: Good for a quick Thai fix near the station if you're hungry, but don't expect amazing taste for that price. 1. Satay Kylling - small starter, decent 2. Stegte Ris & Pad Thai - good quantity, average taste 3. Grøn Curry - best among the four

The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and it's fresh and clean.

Amazing Thai food.. tried the Thai green curry, fried rice and pad thai.. all where delicious! And great ambiance 😊

This restaurant serves delicious Thai food. If you're craving Thai food, I highly recommend it.

I went there with my wife, and this time I unfortunately have no pictures. We had the Menu-A, for two persons, with grilled large shrimps and a coconut soup with chicken fillet pieces in it as an appetizer. The main dish was a fried beef pieces in a red-curry sauce and vegetables, and having asked for fried duck, which I got as slices in a sweet and sour chili sauce, again with vegetables. Finally we had ice cream and coffee. It was all very delicious, well made, and with good ingredients. It felt very homely, and not like a strict Michelin restaurant, which is why I will go there again because they had a rich menu and I want to try more of it. Being a small place, I'm happy that I did reserve seats, because it was very busy, that implies some popularity, which I can understand. The service was friendly and efficient, even though they were obviously pressed to serve a lot of guests in a narrow space. The final cup of coffee was a huge jug that I couldn't finish, but hey as they say, size doesn't matter 😂

We were three and got seated immediately on a rainy Tuesday night while they were busy. The food was really good. I had the Spicy Thai Basil Pork. It is my measuring stick, and this one was one of the best that I have ever had. Seating was a bit crowded. Service was good.

Food is so good. I would say quite authentic. If you like spicy you can ask them to add more!

Best Thai food i have ever had . I been to lots to Thai restaurants in NYC and my fev one is Chicken Pennang Curry . The best one . Service and vibes are very good. Loved it ❤️
