This place is the place where you should buy smoked fish. The fish is really good and they used real fire wood to smoke (not only industrial smoke). They are also really friendly. Compare to the one at Ærøskøbing it is absolutely much better. Take the time to come to Marstal harbor !

This is the Røgeri you should go to, when on the island. You find new flavours, new appreciation for the fish and extremely nice people running it who really go the extra mile for the right reasons. The food was really great.

If you are on Ærø, then it is almost a must to visit Prinsebroen. Their fish plate is super delicious, and the fantastic friendliness and service does not make it any worse. The originality and quality of Prinsebroen is a gain for the island. Thank you for a lovely experience Can only be highly recommended

Cuisine simple et délicieuse, the Prince's plate permet de goûter aux différents poissons fumés de la maison. Le serveur était adorable et parlait assez bien le français.

30/03/2024: Perfect burger! The new wagyo patties are awesome. Be sure to try IT with the smoked garlic sauce (from Olde!). Great little shop with a very nice crew. If you are in Marstal you have to visit!

07/10/2023: A really cozy place with extremely good service from our waiter. She was very accommodating, as my girlfriend cannot tolerate fish, she arranged for the soup to be in addition. It was stated from the start that it was not possible to pay with anything other than cash. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Great recommendation from here.
04/10/2023: The best meal I've ever had in Denmark. If you are sitting on your boat, looking through the reviews of the surrounding restaurants and wondering which restaurant it will be tonight, then Gamle Vingaard is the answer. There's nothing more to say.
