A café in the middle of the dune landscape, right next to the watermill and the junction of 55° north latitude and 15° east longitude. An oasis in the grass with excellent home-baked cakes and tarts, a terrace in the middle of the landscape and home-made chocolate. The guests are very friendly and, when asked, are happy to talk about their project on the Fiji Islands and their visits there when they bring the cocoa beans to Bornholm. You can tell many stories about their cocoa products (chocolate, chocolate tea etc). A place of well-being to the power of three. Always worth a detour. A must when staying on the island.

Delicious chocolate to drink and eat, everything is fair trade, nice owners and a fabulous, cozy interior.

Lovely cafe with very engaged owners and many delicious home made things. Cosy inside and outside seating in a relaxed atmosphere and personal decoration.

Basta Pizza

25/09/2024: Eating at Basta makes you realize that when a project is run right, you can taste the identity and soul in every bite. This is pizza made by people who love what they do. Absolutely delicious. Perfectly flavourful and slightly sweet sauce, amazing dough. If you don’t try it you’re crazy.
23/09/2024: Super duper pizza, rarely tasted better! We got pepperoni, margretha, potato+bacon and the one with pear. All tasted fantastic in their own way.

07/12/2024: (edited review (original review not published due to content/wording(s) violating Google Maps policy), originally from Summer 2018) Restaurant: Ordered a 3-course meal from the restaurant's extremely clear menu with primarily meat-based starter and main course, and a lemon fromage for dessert. It was all sublime from start to finish. I was tired and dejected when I sat down at the table, but left happy and uplifted. Quite simply, a fantastic total experience based on the chef's clear passion for local produce (including especially berries and vegetables), taste, smell, visual impression, sunshine and good Danish rock music. I will come again soon - and bring the whole family! :))
16/10/2024: Have not lived there - but enjoyed the Bar and Restaurant several times - always with pleasure and good experiences in that connection
