Pure Rainforest Chocolate By Koefoed Bornholm

During our week-long stay on Bornholm, we visited twice! I'm so grateful for the team's commitment to sustainable cocoa processing and against child labor. The chocolate is truly delicious and good; you can't buy it in a supermarket. The café, with its delicious cakes, is also a great place to linger. The best dark chocolate I have ever eaten. I also love the concept of fair living conditions/payment to the cocoa farmers. I have also bought many bottles of rare wine from Crete, which I am looking forward to tasting. You cannot buy them anywhere else in Denmark. A lovely surprise in addition to the chocolate experience.

A very cute little chocolate factory with a charming café and, of course, a chocolate shop. The owners are very friendly and happy to explain to visitors how they make their chocolate. Absolutely worth a visit!

This is where I stock up on chocolate and cocoa beans every time I'm on Bornholm. The chocolate is handmade right here in a small chocolate factory and is delicious. They also serve delicious cakes and tarts at really fair prices.

A nice little café with a small selection of cakes, hot chocolate, or coffee. From there, there's a path to the mill and across the meadows to the beach and back to the parking lot.

Cozy café with an amazing surrounding. We highly recommend it to all chocolate lovers :)
