⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful surprise in Løkken We arrived at Løkken quite late in the evening, and unfortunately, it looked like everything was closed. This restaurant was also about to close, but they welcomed us with truly rare kindness and helpfulness. Despite the late hour, they cooked a simply delicious oriental soup especially for us, with chicken, curry, coconut milk, and many other ingredients. It wasn't just delicious, it was also beautiful to look at: rich in color and very elaborate, as if it had been prepared with all the care of a special dinner, certainly not at the last minute. The beer was also excellent, and they prepared a special dish for our 10-year-old son, making us feel truly welcome. The place has a warm, welcoming, and unique atmosphere, with lots of art and details that make it different from the usual restaurants. They also have interesting fermented spirits, which contribute to the unique atmosphere of the place. But what struck us most was the hospitality: after a day of traveling, finding people who, even though they're closing, decide to welcome you and cook especially for you is something you'll never forget. A place we highly recommend, especially for the kindness, the atmosphere, and the cuisine.

A small, cozy restaurant with a very inviting atmosphere. It's more intimate than spacious – those who need plenty of room and privacy should be aware of this. But that's exactly what we liked, and it contributed to the restaurant's special charm. We were impressed by the concept: fresh, seasonal ingredients, homegrown vegetables, creative homemade drinks, and two set menus to choose from (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) that change weekly. You can tell that they work with great attention to detail and high-quality products. The service was also exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm. Since the restaurant is small and apparently very popular, you should definitely make a reservation well in advance. It's a shame we only booked Rartstedt for one of the last evenings of our vacation. Otherwise, we certainly would have come back a second time. A visit is definitely on our list for our next trip to Denmark. Highly recommended!

Excellent dinner menu in a tasteful setting We visited Restaurant Rartsted on August 6, 2026. As we regularly dine in upscale restaurants in Germany – both Michelin-starred and otherwise – we have a solid benchmark for assessing gastronomic quality. We opted for the set menu, including a wine pairing. All the dishes were beautifully composed and prepared exclusively with fresh ingredients. We were particularly impressed by the atmosphere in this small, clean restaurant, tastefully decorated in a subtle industrial style. We were delighted to be guests there. The service was exceptionally pleasant and attentive throughout the evening. The price-performance ratio is perfectly reasonable for the high quality. This visit was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation, and we will certainly return.

Always worth a visit. Perfect hosting delicious food. Just perfect. We haven't been to Løkken without visiting Rartsted.

We had a wonderful visit to Rartsted Restaurant. The whole experience felt warm, welcoming and genuine from start to finish. The food was delicious, carefully prepared and served in a relaxed atmosphere where you feel that people truly care about what they are doing. It was the kind of place where you do not just come only for a meal, but for a pleasant experience. A special thank you to the owner, who was very kind, and he even opened his art gallery, ArtShop, especially for us. The gallery is located in a beautiful old building, and the art was interesting and beautifully presented. A place with good food, character, kindness and culture. We left with a very good feeling and would happily come back.
