Extraordinary service and lovely wine

Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was very warm.

The cured trout was perfect in texture and very flavorful. The celery broth was very delicate. The pickled radishes were good on their own, but a bit too dominant at first. The Hokkaido pumpkin was perfectly cooked, the texture outstanding. The crunch from the roasted pumpkin seeds provided a beautiful contrast. The wine with it — a somewhat unusually light Arneis — was a perfect mismatch. Never thought such a bad choice is possible. It was part of the wine pairing menu; I didn’t choose it myself. The quail was cooked to perfection. Served with beet roots. I chose salad as a side dish, which was good. A solid course, nothing surprising. The wine with the quail doesn’t appeal to me on its own — very harsh tannins — but it works fine with the food. Overall, the dishes were pleasantly low in salt. The dessert was a poem. The meringue with cardamom — brilliant. The quince confit alongside it — very harmonious. Conclusion: The food was excellent, absolutely worth the money. Next time, I’d choose the wines myself.

Delicious food in a beautiful location and very helpful staff.

Stylish bistro with crystal-clear Nordic cuisine and more than reasonable value for money. Even the amuse-bouche impresses with its wafer-thin, crispy pastry and intense beetroot espuma. A fresh, cool, and light starter with lightly marinated trout, radish and radish pickles in celery broth and blackcurrant oil, crispy artichoke with briefly sautéed spinach, paprika cream, and coriander oil. The boiled beef was very al dente despite the long cooking time and low temperature. Deconstructed cheesecake with peach sorbet, lemon cream, and herb oil was pleasantly unsweet and refreshing. A summer menu we would love to have in Germany. Bravo No. 2 👏for us No. 1. Copenhagen, we envy you culinary skills!!

After a very long day in Copenhagen, my friends and I arrived at No Deux quite late, long after the kitchen had already closed. To our absolute delight, the owner, Isen, went out of his way to welcome us and prepare a meal despite the late hour. His kindness and hospitality made us feel so taken care of. The food was simply outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could really taste the passion and love put into every dish. What impressed us most was not only the quality of the cuisine, but also the warmth and generosity of Isen, who truly embodies what hospitality should be. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), grateful for such a memorable experience. If you’re in Copenhagen and want exceptional food paired with genuine hospitality, No Deux is an absolute must.

Superbly located along canals, with seating inside and out. Good set menus, nice wine selection

I thought the space was extremely beautiful and the staff was very helpful with my gluten free friend. Everything was very good, but not everything was outstanding (which for the price I would expect) therefore I’m giving it 4 stars. We really liked the corn and chanterelle dish as well as the fries (must get).
