Jeg var også her i 2020, og kunne næsten kopiere min anmeldelse fra den gang. Udefra ligner det en nedlagt bodega med neonrør over døren - men når man kommer ind er indretningen spansk og lækker, total gennemført med lækkert møblement. Vi fik en 10-retters tapasmenu (3 forretter, 5 hovedretter, 2 desserter) og alt var vanvittig lækkert. Det blev præsenteret på bedste vis, og selvom der var mange gæster, var betjeningen helt professionel og vi ventede ikke længe undervejs Så glem den grimme facade og gå ind, du vil ikke fortryde det.

Really nice restaurant. Delicious food and drink, and the sweetest waitress who just completes the experience. We have been here quite a few times now and everything is just good. Nice relaxing atmosphere, with quiet music and you can just enjoy it. Will definitely come back ❤️

Absolutely delightful, first time I experienced that I got new fresh bottle of water after we just had not even a half of it, just so it’s more fresh. Same with the fresh home made bread and aioli that was to die for. Have no words for the food, everything was perfect. Definitely recommend their Carpaccio! And the service was very pleasant, respectful and patient. Great first impression of Fredericia city!

Cafe Carlos was once the city's absolute best eatery. But within the last few years, the standard has unfortunately fallen. It is no longer possible to choose a single tapas dish, you choose menus composed according to the chef's choice and here you will always find the tuna salad. Loose tapas dishes are only on selected days, that's a shame. Before, there was great service with free water on the tables. Now the waiters are clinging to the bottle and you have to kindly ask for one more glass to fill up. The last time I was there, the owner had brought his children. They sat and ate at the same time as they shouted loudly in the restaurant, it was incredibly disturbing. Hope Cafe Carlos will one day be like it once was.

Really delicious tapas! Ordered lunch at the same time as ticket purchase for Fredericia musical theatre. Very positive experience. It's great that these are small, delicious dishes, original tapas.
