Restaurant Carlos Fredericia

Cafe Carlos was once the city's absolute best eatery. But within the last few years, the standard has unfortunately fallen. It is no longer possible to choose a single tapas dish, you choose menus composed according to the chef's choice and here you will always find the tuna salad. Loose tapas dishes are only on selected days, that's a shame. Before, there was great service with free water on the tables. Now the waiters are clinging to the bottle and you have to kindly ask for one more glass to fill up. The last time I was there, the owner had brought his children. They sat and ate at the same time as they shouted loudly in the restaurant, it was incredibly disturbing. Hope Cafe Carlos will one day be like it once was.

Really delicious tapas! Ordered lunch at the same time as ticket purchase for Fredericia musical theatre. Very positive experience. It's great that these are small, delicious dishes, original tapas.

No specialty beer, good service, OK food without being fantastic

I had: Greatest steak in years, greatest whiskey sauce Woman had: Beef pasta Awesome and the dessert also bomb at Tapabar in Fredericia Denmark. It's been a long time since I've had such a great complete package: service, food and atmosphere. 100% repeat factor So a vacation can begin after 8 hours of driving

You have to look for a long time in Denmark for a good restaurant that can deliver an exceptionally good dining experience. But it can happen that you stumble across a beautiful pearl every now and then. And that's the kind of experience our first visit to restaurant Carlos in Fredericia turned out to be. Exquisite good quality with perfect composition to create a unique good taste experience with each and every dish. Really accomplished. And nice, quiet surroundings in true rustic style. We are very much looking forward to trying their evening Tapas and probably already have high expectations. See you again from us.
