We came across this restaurant by chance thanks to a tip from another restaurant that didn't have a table available. And the tip turned out to be outstanding. The food was incredibly tasty, the restaurant was very authentic and the service was really friendly. Thanks Frederik and hopefully see you next time!

All in all a good experience but I must add that I have experienced it better other times I have been there.

We arrived on a Sunday evening with no booking. After a very warm and friendly greeting we were directed to a centre table in this traditional decorated restaurant. The dark wood panelling, collections of porcelain ware and copper ware, popular Danish music from the 1960s created a lovely atmosphere. I ordered the Veal Lover and my wife has the schnitzel. Both were lovely and the portions were huge! We finished by sharing a serving of pancakes. All through dinner the wait staff were friendly and very attentive to our needs. Restaurant Fridas was a lovely way to spend our final evening in Copenhagen.
