Restaurant Glashuset Hjørring

We were greeted by smiling and friendly staff, and the service was quick. Unfortunately the food was not very good, my husband got chicken salad, a very small portion, and there was more salad than chicken!!! My fish fillet was fried in rancid oil! So we were not as satisfied as the last time we were here.

The Vesterhavs menu consisting of 5 courses including wines was the choice. Delicious food and wonderful complimentary wines. Attentive staff who nicely explains the food and wines. We enjoyed ourselves for 3 hours and leave Glashuset happy and satisfied. Our best recommendation from here...

Starter carrots and steak very good. Nice bread beforehand. Fruit with the salad also very tasty. After the main course we were not helped anymore. We were not asked if we wanted a dessert, drinks or bill etc. Other tables also looked around expectantly. After a long wait we went to ask for the bill ourselves. Very strange and a pity, maybe the dessert was also tasty… Saw that others got an ice cream later in the neighborhood.
