Restaurant Grand Odense

All in all, a super nice stay that completely met our expectations.

Delicious breakfast, the rest was okay. The shower didn't work, and when we mentioned it at check-out, it was dismissed with, "I'll make a note of it right away".

Beautiful, grand hotel in a perfect location. However, the rooms and bathrooms are definitely outdated. A major modernization of the rooms is desperately needed. In that sense, the price-quality ratio is poor. Too expensive for the service. However, it does have a lot of potential.

Great experience. Easy to get there. Just 9 min from train station. Very beautiful l, tradicional and cozy place with an exceptional restaurant for dinner. Staff was very good to us. Check in a little bit late (4pm) but the employee could offer us check in at 2pm which was great. So we are very happy!

Rooms are nice and roomy with big bath. Very friendly receptionist.

The hotel was very cozy. The amazing staff made sure everything was in order—at breakfast there were no dirty dishes left on tables, and the serving stations were always full and spotless (no dropped food, no half-empty jugs, etc.). I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times over the past few years, and I can see the quality has improved. I did have an issue with a loose door handle, but after reporting it at reception, it was already fixed by the time I returned. Great service! The only thing I miss is the "vintage" arcade machine in the lobby they had a few years ago — it was unique and fun. :)

The bartender Kristoffer made the evening perfect with incredible drinks, fantastic knowledge and fabulous service.

A hotel with incredible aesthetics, both inside and out. The room was in very good condition, somewhat old, but in good condition, with all the necessary amenities and all utensils in good working order. The entire hotel staff was very friendly at all times. The bartender was very kind, prompt, and excellent in technique. The breakfast buffet was incredible. The staff was always attentive, with everything replenished and full. The fresh food was of excellent quality. I will return if I have the opportunity to return to the city.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station on the edge of the pedestrian zone. The building is over 100 years old. Everything is beautifully furnished and decorated, but it's definitely showing its age. We received a very friendly welcome. The staff is generally friendly and attentive. The room on the second floor was quite large. It overlooked the inner courtyard. There was a coffee maker and a minibar. There was also a safe in the room, as well as a fan, which we really appreciated. The bed was comfortable, although rather soft. Everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The only drawbacks were that it was difficult to shower without getting the entire bathroom wet. And the night curtains over the windowsill are too short. Due to the bright light in the inner courtyard, the room wasn't really dark. The price/performance ratio wasn't quite right for me either. Overall, though, everything was OK.
