Great hotel stay. Only request that there is a ramp up to the entrance, if heavy luggage is a challenge to carry the luggage up the steps at the hotel main entrance.

A wonderful hotel with a fantastic location in the center. Close to shopping, dining and city life. At the hotel, you are met by friendly and welcoming staff who are good at informing you about the practical measures. The hotel's rooms bear the stamp of a slightly older style and worn roofs. The ability to stream in the room was missing, as well as a few more sockets at the table areas. In the room, it is possible to order room service and there are delicious bath products.

Spacious room, good cupboard space, the bathroom could use modernisation, far too few sockets. Good location, friendly staff.

The hotel is really really well located and nice. Really beautiful surroundings up to the pedestrian street and cozy restaurants and bars. No noise The bar in the hotel made the best cocktail and the breakfast was really good. They have super sweet people at the reception. The rooms were Ok.. a bit boring. 1 spot was lit in the entrance hall, the rest had gone out. there aren't that many sockets to be able to charge your phone or watch. We could move some furniture, so we found some individual ones. We couldn't find any phone numbers as we needed help finding towels. But then we just used our own and could call the hotel

A cozy place with friendly staff. History oozes here. Delicious breakfast buffet which is eaten under the old chandeliers in the breakfast restaurant. Cozy bar. The rooms are nice and well-furnished.

I've stayed at this hotel several times, and I come back deliberately. I love the charming, old world style of the exterior and lobby. The rooms are nice, fairly large and very functional. The breakfast buffet is terrific and included. The staff is first-rate, very friendly and supportive of any need. The fitness room is fairly strong, but it would be nice to see some newer equipment.

I recently stayed at First Hotel Grand and have mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the dining was truly exceptional—delicious food with attentive service. The hotel lobby was also a standout, offering a warm and welcoming ambiance that gave the impression of a high-standard establishment. Unfortunately, the quality significantly dropped when I entered the most important part of any hotel stay—the room. For a hotel with a 4-star rating and such a reputable name, I expected better. The shower head was moldy and leaking, which was both unpleasant and unacceptable. The curtain in the room emitted an unpleasant smell, making the space feel old, neglected, and forgotten. If the intention was to create a vintage or aged theme, it should at least have been maintained and cleaned to a reasonable standard. There were no drinking amenities in the room, such as a kettle or coffee maker, which would have been a basic expectation for a hotel of this level. However, the views in the morning were a redeeming feature—the sunrise was absolutely breathtaking and provided a moment of peace amidst the disappointments. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the state of the rooms needs serious improvement to match the quality of the public spaces and dining experience. Until then, I’d hesitate to recommend it fully.

I had a great evening in the fish restaurant at the Grand Hotel We had a seafood menu with misc. wines - it was just so good. It's expensive but really good. I would like to save up to repeat the experience 😃

The hotel has been thoughtfully decorated, and there’s even a massage chair in the gym for relaxation. The breakfast is amazing, with high-quality butter, and the bartender at the hotel bar is really skilled—the drinks are fantastic! The only downside was one morning around 8 a.m., when housekeeping knocked to ask if we needed our room cleaned. My husband and I were still sleeping, so we didn’t hear her. She then entered with a key card and, seeing us still asleep, asked if we needed cleaning. It was honestly quite shocking

A quite charming main building, and you feel the old hotel with a nice breakfast restaurant, a cozy bar and reception... However, I was assigned a room in an adjacent industrial building, which was not quite so charming. They have tried to create the same charm as in the original hotel, but I don't think it works,,, it seems dark and old,,,,just the stairs I send pictures of here from the main building and the industrial building, what a difference. The head pillow was extremely flat, you should have two, there was no light in the shower cubicle, so you couldn't see, no possibility for a cup of morning coffee, An old ugly armchair and an extremely ugly view of the car park. But quite clean and nice with extremely helpful and pleasant staff And the hotel is located in the absolute city center without any real noise, at least not in our room.
