Restaurant Grand Odense

The room was relatively cold. The radiator is also well packed away. A blanket in front of the bed could do wonders instead of the just cold wooden floor. Breakfast with a very nice selection. However, both scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages were more cold than lukewarm, which you don't expect. Otherwise a nice hotel with history and charm.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with beautiful stairs, hallways, and beautiful paintings on the walls. The entrance itself already offers a lot. But one thing shocked me: for a hotel of this price and prestige, not even offering water upon arrival? It's excessive. They should change this. You arrive after a long journey and all you can think about is leaving your luggage, resting, and having a drink, only to discover that you have to pay for water upon arrival. On the positive side, the staff are misleading. The breakfast was very nice and very good. You could taste the fresh produce and the variety, and you could even make your own pancakes. I've read reviews that the gym is too small and in poor condition, and I have to disagree. The gym is just a gym, in good condition, but it's small, but if you use your head a bit and have some exercise knowledge, you can do anything there. A big plus is the massage chair, because why not get a 15-minute massage in the evening for free? Overall, a great stay, the location is great, but sometimes noisy. The breakfast is top-notch. The hotel is beautiful. The only downside is the lack of welcome water.

Super nice hotel. We booked an executive double room with a bathtub :) and the suite comes with a free soft drink minibar. Discount because we are first member (which is free)

We found the hotel to be comfortable and friendly , also the location is perfect for exploring the town

Great staff, they were always there when you needed them. Looking forward to a new visit when a renovation has been completed or at least the windows has been changed from the current single sheet of glass (a lot of noise from the street below) - please keep the spirit and classical appearance of this nice and old hotel
