HOS in Odense gets my clear recommendation. We called on the day and were able to get a table outside a little over an hour after we called. The table was ready when we arrived and we were warmly welcomed by one of the waiters. We were 6 guests that day. 4 of us ordered starfish, one of which ordered gluten-free. The starfish were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The dish included cod roe, which was a delicious interpretation of the classic starfish. The last two ordered open sandwiches, which were also extremely tasty. If we go to Odense again, there is no doubt where to enjoy lunch.

Really delicious smørrebrød. They were all very well put together, with garnishes that perfectly complemented the main ingredient. I particular loved the pickled herring one. The potatoes and the beef tartare were both delicious too.

Here, open sandwiches have been taken to a higher level. There is simply a great deal of attention to detail in each piece, which has an almost artistic expression. The taste and composition are definitely interesting. The service is friendly, fast and professional. It is also not on the cheap end, so you might want to skip the charge for a bottle of water when you have bought drinks.

It was simply a huge pleasure. The food was really tasty, varied and exciting. The bread was incredibly delicious. The service was incredibly friendly, welcoming and provided a calm and cozy atmosphere. Thank you so much for the food 🙏🏼 We look forward to seeing you again.

Good restaurant, but cold coffee

Arrived for lunch and was alone at first, so had to create the atmosphere myself. Fantastic food and good service.
