Restaurant Klim Strand Jammerbugt

We went at the end of August, so it was very quiet and no restaurants. But the cabins were right near the ocean, and you had direct access to the beach. The have a fantastic kids indoor playground area that works for little kids to big kids. The pool was indoors and heated. They have a little mini-shop to buy things, but their are also grocery stores 5 minutes away. My family loved it.

The location of the campsite is great!! The staff were all friendly. BUT: Although it was August, we were there during the off-season. This means that the reception and thus the entire building, including the shop (which is really small), the swimming pool, the indoor playground, and even the ice cream parlor, are closed from 6:00 PM. There's also no restaurant during the week. On weekends, there's only a small buffet. I really don't recommend it. The sanitary facilities are unfortunately showing their age and haven't been properly maintained for a while. I don't mean daily cleaning. Every day was okay. But here a hand shower is broken, there a faucet is broken, and somewhere else the water drain isn't working and it's leaking everywhere. The squeegees are also starting to wear out or need to be cleaned. The electrical outlets on the campsite are in the trash and look like that now. The faucets here should also be checked, as not all of them work properly.

The kids loved this place, with the swimming pool, the beach nearby and a modern indoor playground. I had some traditional Danish dish at the restaurant which was tasty as well. Great place for families with younger kids.

A very friendly welcome. There's everything your heart desires here: a swimming pool in case of bad weather, bikes, go-karts, etc. We parked our motorhome on route 654, 50 meters from the beach, which is, however, very rocky along this stretch of coast. You won't get bored at this campsite.
