We had lobster soup and fried hake plus a fish plate, it was all super delicious and there was plenty so you didn't leave hungry Highly recommend it

Our nearly 3-week tour of Denmark – Tønder, Ribe, Skagen, Aalborg, Aarhus, Odense, Copenhagen, Falter. And the winner – even compared to upscale restaurants – is "La Mar" in Thyborøn 🥂. Unusual ambiance, absolutely fantastic cuisine.

16/07/2026: Cozy place with a view of the fjord/cove. You can sit both indoors and outdoors. Lots of parking spaces on gravel. The food is good and the portions are very large. (So be hungry) You pick up your food yourself when it beeps.
29/06/2026: A nice bar with tasty food, although the prices are a little high compared with other restaurants serving similar dishes. This is probably due to the lack of competition in the area.

26/06/2026: Average restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Chicken burger with fries. A bit boring chicken. I don't think it's fresh from the freezer. Which leads to the question of whether it's a café or a grill? That's why the price is also on the expensive side. There was no signature on their burger. You can sit outside by the pedestrian street or inside.
