Restaurant Luna Lemvig

Today, Resturant Luna at the harbor in Lemvig should have reviewed their burger. Arrived at about 1:00 PM and was immediately shown nice seats with a great view of the fjord, when the rest of the party had arrived, the staff was very attentive and ordered food for 5 people at exactly 1:23 PM. The food was served together and hot at exactly 1:42 PM. First impression is that the burger looks very appetizing and delicious and radiates fresh ingredients. The bun is a delicious brioche bun at the better end that tastes great, both the bottom bun and the top bun are smeared with some mayo that doesn't hurt. Inside the burger there are home-pickled sour red onions and they taste really good and are very sour. In addition, there are some home-pickled cucumbers that taste great with the red onions. In addition, we find fresh tomato and some baby lettuce. Inside the burger there is some homemade tomato chutney that may / may not do anything good for the burger, but it is distinctive. I think the steak is 120-140 grams and the meat tastes good and is of good quality. When we ordered I asked the waiter how the steak was cooked and I was told it was pink/medium “super that’s how it should be I thought” unfortunately the steak was cooked through, not as well done as a shoe sole, but still cooked through. So it was sad. A nice size rustic fries were served and they were superb, deep fried perfectly so hard on the outside and mushy on the inside, a homemade aioli was served with it which was a bit neutral, it could have been stronger, but rather hurt someone. When you call yourself a restaurant I also expect the staff to come and ask if the food is satisfactory, but this did not happen. Gave this dish DKK 179.- for lunch, which is plenty of it, good ingredients and a beautiful view. You get 4 out of 5 stars. Thanks for the food

Burger 🍔 ate, taste very good, it could have been a bit warmer

Mig og min veninde spiste der til noget koncert hvor der var god musik på havnen. Vi ville gerne have en bord uden for og have nogle tæpper men der var åbenbart ikke flere selvom kun nogle få sad med tæpper. Så ventede vi efter i over en time på den meget kedelig burger vi fik. Nu er jeg ikke fan er MC D men jeg synes faktisk deres burger har mere smag og pommefritterne var kolde og sten hårde og uden salt. For denne lille ret og en kande dele vand måtte vi slippe over 200 kr. I løbet af den tid vi sad der kom der ikke en eneste tjener og spurgte om bi manglede noget. Hov glemte næste at sige at vi fik en lille forret om man vil i forklædning som et enkelt stykke brød med smør til hver. Næste gang vi var afsted spiste vi på café Larsen istedet og vi var begge enige om at det var meget bedre til en meget billigere pris.

The shooting star was really just bread with 2 deep fried fish fillets, 5 shrimps, and a small spoonful of boiled fish. Not worth the price. However, the place has an amazing atmosphere and view

Great location, very friendly service, but unfortunately the food was a rip-off. The fish and chips were a kid's portion and priced at a premium. A real shame.

Large and nice restaurant down by the harbor, we ordered veal steak 🥩 with red wine sauce potatoes and salad which was fried and prepared as it should be. Fish and chips were homemade with fresh cod but a little too greasy in the fryer for me and the fries were large and fried too little for my taste. Service and management were absolutely faultless, all in all a reasonable visit worth.

We ate very well and the service was excellent. I recommend the herring.

Update August 2025: This time it didn't get 5 stars. First of all, we had booked a table from home, but a couple who came in from the street still got "our" table right in front of us. So they had to make room for us in the back, where there is no view of the harbor. Secondly, the food was not top notch this time. At a luxury shooting star, the steamed fish should be significantly larger, and not just a small piece of cold fish. The experience was much better the first time we visited the place. A really nice place right by the Limfjord in beautiful Lemvig. Here you can find delicious food in cozy surroundings. And the service is top notch. We chose 2 dishes from the summer menu. Fresh delicious asparagus with shrimp and hollandaise sauce for a starter. Oven-baked catfish with side dishes for the main course.
