There was only one meal today, was there always?! ...but it was really great and would have been enough for four people, there were only two of us 😜...the food arrived quickly and we felt very comfortable because the service was really nice.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch - and it was a good decision! The most delicious food - and with good ingredients. It tasted so good! Sweet waiters, good service. Not a single thing to say about it. We'll be back soon 🙌

Lunch at Restaurant Mågen, Assens Marina We had 2 fantastic shooting stars, of a quality and size that you rarely see. Good and friendly service. We will come again next time we are in Assens

The waiter went to the wrong table with our food. However, only one plate was put down when they pointed out that it was wrong. The prices online were about 10 kr cheaper than on the menu. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he said he would pass it on. Two days later it still hasn't been fixed. My husband found a fish bone in "Stjerneskuddet". When I asked if there was a finder's fee, the waiter replied that she wouldn't tell the kitchen because that's what could happen. She's right, but in my world it was a strange answer. The food tasted delicious and was freshly prepared.

14/06/2026: We were SO glad the weather wasn't good the Saturday before! We didn't know there were a lot of old cars and motorcycles with sidecars (probably from WWII!) I didn't pay much attention as I was just enjoying the wind in my hair during the ride in the sidecar! And it was free! Thank you for a fantastic and wonderful afternoon of rides, talking and everything we saw in bunkers and yes, just in general! ⛺️🫶
10/06/2026: We happened to pass by the bakery today. From the street we could see some sandwiches in the refrigerated display case. We went in and ordered a sandwich with rib roast. We were offered to eat it at the cafe tables. And yum, it was a treat! We were also tempted by a good offer on cream buns for 5 kr./piece, as well as a couple of rhubarb lentils. When we got back to our holiday apartment at Bogense harbor, we were supposed to have a cup of coffee and the lentils/cream buns we had bought. We didn't have the greatest expectations for the 5 kr. homemade cream buns, but we learned better. They were freshly made with a marzipan base. If I had known, I would have bought some more. The rhubarb lentils tasted heavenly with coffee. When you make something good, you deserve praise. Best recommendations from here.

15/05/2026: The rooms are nice and clean. Good information at the reception. Good food but with a very long wait (50 min.) for the starter and a long wait between courses.
