The restaurant is decorated in the most unique maritime surroundings with old fishing boats and lots of history, which gives it a very special atmosphere. You can clearly feel the connection to the sea and the city's proud fishing traditions. The menu offers fresh fish dishes, classic Danish favorites and delicious café dishes, where the ingredients taste fresh and the portions are good. Especially if you like fish, there is a lot to look forward to. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and even when it is busy in the summer period, they do their best to give the guests a good experience. Whether you come for a good lunch, a nice dinner or just want to enjoy a cup of coffee with a view of the harbor environment, Mallemukken is an obvious choice. A cozy place with lots of atmosphere, which fits perfectly into a day of adventures in Thyborøn. Definitely worth a visit!

We were there for lunch. The first serving of fish fillet, fish cakes and squid rings unfortunately tasted like they had been heated in a convection oven.

Really nice restaurant where you sit inside the belly of a ship - we didn't expect that. The service was quick, both ordering and the food came soon after. The only problem was the waiter who had heard our order wrong, but we quickly got what we had ordered instead. Delicious shrimp food and the salmon salad was also good.

Cool little experience to have lunch under an old ship hull. Perfect, sweet service in a class of its own, even with three picky children. Excellent food: Ordering a shooting star is a chance to take, as it can be anything between heavenly and inedible - here it was totally fine. Top check! 🫡

Dogs are not allowed, so no food.

Had a lunch buffet, there were many good fish dishes and also something if you are not that big of a fish fan. There was plenty of space and the dishes were quickly filled. Highly recommended 👍👍

There were no descriptions of what the buffet contained. Several of the dishes seemed tired.

So charming to sit in the little boat and eat. All three of us had the buffet and were very satisfied.
