Good service, but small portions and lukewarm schnapps Restaurant Maven in Copenhagen is located in beautiful surroundings and has a cozy atmosphere that makes it a great place for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The staff was really friendly and professional – high praise for the service, which was both welcoming and attentive. The food tasted good, but the portions were unfortunately very small compared to the price. If you are hungry, you will probably have to order extra dishes. Another minus was the schnapps, which were served lukewarm – it is a detail, but for many, an ice-cold schnapps is an important part of the experience. But if you expect large portions or classic Danish lunch with cold drinks, you may be disappointed.

Really good food, classic open sandwiches with a (appropriate) little twist, and super sweet service. For example, when we wanted one last beer, but not the usual size, we got half a glass. It's the kind of friendliness and flexibility that makes you come back again - and then the good quality of the food, of course. The fried herring in particular was an incredibly good alternative to the well-known salted herring, not a trace of salt, but wonderfully fresh and crispy.

Went in vain for coffee/cake at Maven, they only accepted lunch guests (it was 3:00 PM). We could sit outside if we wanted coffee. It wasn't exactly the dream in November, so we had to go again. I usually like Maven's food, atmosphere and service - hence 3 stars. I don't know if it's the new line after the renovation, but I hope I haven't had my last coffee at Maven. Otherwise I'll have to wait until it gets warm again.

An absolute Copenhagen favorite. Worth a visit!

We enjoyed an evening meal on 25/10/25. Don’t be swayed by one or two reviews which mention small portions: we’re not Americans looking for a huge meal; the food was absolutely delicious and quite enough, thank you very much. The service was also superb, including English speaking waitresses which put our UK education system to shame. The premises are also wonderful. A really great evening was had by this particular couple.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and if you like wine and want to try a variety of wines, I recommend this place. The food is a perfect match for wine, and although the portions are not large, the taste is delicious. I also like how they add the sauces to the meal. If you're hungry, it's best to order the set menu.

The main course Halibut was very small - you can't call it a main course. We can in no way recommend anyone to go out to eat when they can't get enough. That will be our message in our group of acquaintances. Cheeky to charge for water when we all drank wine in good quantities. And the water bottle was empty for long periods.

I want to thank the restaurant Maven and staff for an amazing atmosphere and delicious food. We had a wedding celebration and everything was perfect!

Hermoso entorno fuera de una iglesia en una plaza. Vinimos a escuchar jazz y a cenar. Tenía una mesa justo al lado del escenario y fue un placer absoluto. El menú fijo era excelente y el servicio fue impecable. Muy recomendable

Un hermoso y luminoso comedor y una hermosa sombrilla - patio sombreado. Excelente smorrbrod. Yo tenía camarones, que era tierno y delicioso, y una patata preciosa. Hierbas delicadas y salsa.
