Restaurant Nögen Vejle

Just a real pleasure every time! We have now visited Nögen in Vejle 3 times. It is always a new experience, as the menu changes on a weekly basis. You are always positively surprised by the good atmosphere and the many smiling faces you meet. The service is top notch and the food is a gastronomic highlight! Whether you want wine, juice or cocktails for your menu, this is also top notch, and the waiters have a complete grasp of what they are talking about. The restaurant has a focus on sustainability and reducing food waste, by basing the menus on items that others don't necessarily want or that have to be discarded due to appearance. For example by-catch, date product, surplus product, alternative cuts and seasonal produce. Even if we have to drive all the way from Roskilde to Vejle, we will definitely come again!

Really good food as share food, waited too long for the food, otherwise top class

SUPER cool concept of using "surplus food". All dishes were nicely arranged, good presentation of the dishes, and I was impressed by the composition of ingredients which created a wide palette of flavors. It is DEFINITELY a place I will try again, and the cool thing about the concept is that even if I came again tomorrow, it would most likely be some completely different dishes I would be served

The experience was beyond all expectations, as a chef you can taste that thought has been given to each and every serving. The flavors were well balanced and textures were also taken into account. In essence, there were taste experiences that set all the senses in motion..... Yummy. It was extremely delicious and definitely not the last time I come to Vejle to visit Restaurant Nögen. The food and service are reminiscent of something you usually pay much more for and which can only be found in Copenhagen - it's an experience and it's great that the chefs also serve the food 😍

Value for money. Worth a visit. Super friendly service. Good food, but it was served half cold.

The food was fantastic, but the fact that the waiter next to us sneezed into his hand without washing or sanitizing his hands was not so cool to see. The place was a bit too cramped in my opinion, which drags the atmosphere down a bit.
