Restaurant Nögen Vejle

It was truly delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. The plates were beautifully presented. The chef explained everything at the table, and they spoke excellent English. It was a peaceful setting; I tried things I'd never had before, and each one was more delicious than the last. I highly recommend this!

We had a fantastic evening! Friendly staff and a beautiful interior. At first, they seemed to have forgotten our table, but they completely made up for it later. The food (10 small dishes) was delicious, especially the dessert. We ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon for drinks, which was also delicious. During our meal, the chef explained all the dishes, and the waitresses poured fresh water on time. All in all, it's definitely worth eating here!

Fantastic food. Inspiring concept of utilizing surplus and expired products, which are transformed into gourmet menus. This combined with a warm staff with a high level of service and narration about the individual dishes provided the basis for a thoroughly wonderful dining experience.

EXCELLENT SERVICE GOOD FOOD My wife and I dined here with four other persons in JUN 2025. The restaurant is cozy with nice decor. The staff is professional. Our waitress, Julie, was phenomenal! Really service minded. And she did all she could to find us a wine for our palate. The menu is set - we had selected the 7 course dinner - “Halv n ø g e n”. The dishes were served in 3 flights: starters, mains, and desert. The food was really well made and arranged. Really nice. The flavour scheme was not quite pleasing my palate, but the food was well made non the less. Definitely a place to visit in Vejle.

When looking for restaurants in Vejle, there is a preponderance of fries, pizzas and other junk. At Nøgen it is simple and really delicious. Some may know Madklubben, but this is two steps better. Here the focus is not on upselling and it may be a worse business, but it gives a better review. We chose Helt nøgen, there are 10 small dishes served as 3 snacks, 3 starters, 3 main courses and 1 dessert. There is no menu card, as the concept is based on what ingredients are available that day. A good pleasant experience at a fair price.

A very good concept with sustainability, we ordered a 7 course and it was perfect in the damp heat. An amazing combination of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes with the feel of a fine dining experience even if its well within a normal salary budget for a nice dinner out. The service is very good. if there is anything to pull back on it is that they did not wipe the tables before serving the next dish. (i am a messy bread eater) the dishes are based on what they can get that day and all the food is well prepared and has a good presentation. The vibe of the restaurant is calm and relaxed with good seating options, even at the barside. for a price of 309 danish kroner, this is a very good choice for a good dining experience for couples or groups. PS: you dont choose what food you get, and that is 90% of the fun where you are forced to try new things and experience tastes you did not know existed.

SUPER cool concept of using "surplus food". All dishes were nicely prepared, well presented, and I was impressed by the combination of ingredients that created a wide palette of flavors. It's definitely a place I'll try again, and the cool thing about the concept is that even if I came back tomorrow, it would most likely be completely different dishes that I would be served Just been there again 😋

It was a fabulous evening with very good food and nice service - i recommend this for a great night dining out.

Absolutely loved our night here! The concept is amazing and the food is delicious. We had the 10 course meal and were pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the chef and the kindness and knowledge of the staff. A 10/10 night ❤️
