After a really, really long run, actually since Palægade opened in 2016, we finally succeeded.
Sun, moon and stars were right and the occasion perfect.
A 12 year anniversary.
The wild expectations for this lunch were fulfilled.
The cozy premises created a nice and relaxed atmosphere, supported by a really competent, sweet and friendly staff.
We got:
Hand-peeled prawns on crispy toast with mayonnaise and lemon.
It was just sitting in the cupboard - the mayonnaise just ………
Stir-fried beef thigh tartar, dried tomato, tarragon cream, crispy onions and watercress
Super delicate, well balanced, nice cream, really delicious tomatoes both sour and sweet.
Palægade's dinner Pâté on chicken liver and heart, salted veal brisket, cloud and pickled beech hats
The paté was really, and for me, could turn into a really good liver pâté food.
But with the salty meat, spicy cloud and mushrooms, this version of the famous dinner has been moved up to a completely different class.
Three cheeses from near and far
3 lovely tasty cheeses.
All in all, a really good experience - we will come back soon and try the evening menu.

My expectations were probably too high, which probably made me more disappointed. The food was simply too salty. Also a bit too much mayonnaise, but that's less important.

Great food and excellent service. Professional and knowledgeable staff, wine menu is a pleasure to browse through, you can see the passion in all aspects of this restaurant. Went for the smorrebrod but did not see any on the menu so probably they are only served during lunch. But certainly not disappointed

Enjoyed a really nice dinner here recently. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent and the waiter very knowledgeable about the food and wine to accompany. Would recommend if you’re looking for a special night out.

Really great place. Food was really good, service was good and ambient was good. Overall 5/5
It's good, but also expensive. DKK 250 for a shrimp meal! Service is good, but there are other and equally good places for less money.

Fin madoplevelse hos Palægade. Vi var til frokost med karrysild, fiskefilet og rørt tatar med 2 gode øl og dild/ anissnaps samt kaffe og kage. Alt veltillavet og hurtigt serveret af professionelt personale.

C’est un excellent restaurant servant une cuisine très inventive avec de très bons produits. C’est un régal, mais il ne faut pas être trop affamé. Certes, la carte précise que les portions sont petites à moyenne. Le repas complet est donc assez cher, surtout si on l’accompagne d’une bouteille de vin.
