Very cozy place with a good environment and nice view over Esbjerg. Fast, competent and friendly service. And the food is well prepared and tasty.

After visiting this establishment, my wife and I were 100% satisfied. The atmosphere in the establishment is simply magical with a beautiful view of the city. The service was also at the highest level. Now for the main thing, the food was extremely tasty and exquisite, very few restaurants in Denmark can offer something like that. The prices are quite small for such a menu. So my verdict, if you are in Esbjerg, definitely visit this restaurant. P.S. We will definitely visit this establishment again.😉

It was a really great pleasure to experience an evening on plates. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was top notch and very professional but still warm-hearted and the atmosphere was cozy and intimate. I suffer from lactose and gluten intolerance and they handled that with great professionalism Really big kudos to plates for a fantastic evening. thank you very much

Really delicious food, great dishes, really good service, nice decor, nice view, and incredibly delicious welcome drinks... We ordered a 10-course menu, and there was enough food to easily fill you up. You could have had some quiet background music and slightly nicer cutlery, but all in all still a 5 star experience.

It was a fantastic experience to eat the "joint menu" at rest. Plates in Esbjerg served by sweet and friendly waiters and with the best view of the city from the 17th floor. We would love to come again😉

Perfectly placed at the top of the hotel with stunning views over the harbour and offshore. I had the pleasure of dining at Plates Restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. Their attentiveness throughout the meal was top-notch, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and unobtrusive. Now, the food—wow! Every dish was a masterpiece. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. It's clear the chefs take immense pride in their craft. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty dish or something light and flavorful, the menu has something for everyone. I highly recommend Plates to anyone looking for excellent food and outstanding service. I'll definitely be back soon!

Fantastic service, from booking which was last minute, to the service during the visit. Can be highly recommended 🙏🙏. The sharing menu concept is REALLY good. No food waste and the food is delicious. Their Advent brunch is highly recommended. The menu for children under 12 was spot on ❤️

Super nice evening, which unfortunately was ruined by the main courses! Fantastically delicious main courses, super taste experience. But the main courses were cold/lukewarm, the beef was overcooked and almost dry and slightly burnt. The coleslaw was burnt (which was apparently a known problem, cf. the waiter). Other ragout and au gratin artichokes were cold. All main courses appeared to have been reheated or to have been placed under heat lamps. The desert alone gives one of the stars, really good and delicious. Super good service and fine handling of our complaint about the main courses. Cosy, neat and clean premises.

Fantastic view, good atmosphere and delicious food. However, the meat was very tender, and then we wonder about having to pay for water when we order a whole bottle of wine. The waiter never came and asked if everything was good, and we had to repeatedly ask for plates when they had served the food.
