The customer service was polite and the food was delicious, but as a Japanese person, I found the sauce too boring. It was quite voluminous, so I guess it's worth the high price, but the sauce was so bad that I found it hard to eat in the second half. It might be better to share and eat half of each meal with a variety of things.

Best traditional Danish lunch! We tried the very famous open toast with prawns and the Danish fried fish with mayo and prawns, VERY GOOD!! Then we also wanted to try another dish with marinated eel and I must say that it surprised us, perhaps a little too salty but super approved for our tastes Also worth trying are the "sips" which are spirits that local people drink between one bite and another between the various courses

Long known as a haven for top quality smørrebrød. And they do deliver. This was my fifth visit over the years... Nothing more or less offered than the classic Danish smørrebrød tradition. But that's the point. Accompanied with a plethora of offered distilled drinks (schnaps, "en lilling", brandwein - you name it) a meal here is - at least for a tourist - the essence of this Danish eating tradition. Not open in the evenings - you'll have to digest (and burn the alcohol) in daytime. The setting is in a basement with plenty of cosy "kellar" feeling. "Hygge" as the Danish would say. Not at all cheap. Be prepared for a lunch with a severe price tag. Well worth it, if this is what you're looking for. And you should be looking for it if you do not visit Denmark/Copenhagen much more than occasionally.

Stunning restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. Be on time it’s strict with reservations but food… food is awesome. Every sandwich, every appetizer and every shot makes it better. Excellent service and friendly staff. Don’t leave until you try all menu highlights.
