Restaurant Svendborgsund Svendborg

On 11/9-26 our family was at Svendborgsund. Two ordered Wienerschnitzel and two got red sole. We were all extremely satisfied with the food and staff, nice and cozy atmosphere. However, my only complaint is that they should upgrade their cutlery, as the knives were quite dull (the food was tender).

The food was truly outstanding; I've rarely eaten such good meat. The prices are quite reasonable for this quality. The atmosphere is charmingly rustic, and the service was very friendly. The menu was also available in English.

Although we hadn't made a reservation, we were given an outside table. The staff were very friendly and the food was great.

Fantastic classic Danish dishes, which however do not quite live up to the previous ones. Unfortunately, service here has become a completely forgotten and unknown phenomenon, just as the waiting time is far too long.

Yes, this place. Good food. Service was a bit dry, but maybe that's just how the people are. The food is very good, the setting isn't very modern or hip, but the focus is good. Recommended.

The fried pork was fried dry and tough. After complaining to the waiter, who agreed with us, a new portion was served with pretty much the same result as the first time.

I've been there before and most recently here on July 30th, and I'm looking forward to another visit. They have some fantastic pork rinds on the omelette and strong mustard.

Very good, lovely walk along the water from the Christiansminde hotel, very pleasant welcome, staff and meal.

We bought a fantastic egg cake with lots of bacon. Really good experience. 🌞👍
