The most beautiful surroundings to enjoy a good meal. Fantastic service and food. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy good food in the center of Odense in a house with charm and history. An experience not to be missed!

Absolutely delicious dinner with my cœliac partner (no gluten). Very friendly service, incredibly accommodating and reassuring regarding cross-contamination, so my partner felt very safe. All menu options could be made gluten-free. Good non-alcoholic wine was also available! On the more expensive side but definitely worth it for the quality and atmosphere - a perfect place for a special occasion.

A beautiful spot under a large linden tree. The service is excellent. Truly exceptionally hospitable and friendly. They make every effort to explain everything in excellent English. Absolutely fabulous evening. Food creations inspired by H.C. Anderson’s fairy tales (in our case ‘princess and the pea’) and wonderfully introduced with a pinch of humour by the waiter. The restaurant is just across H.C Anderson’s birthplace and museum in probably the most picturesque and historic street of Odense. Definitely recommended for a gastronomical night out.

Missing this place already. Despite it being situated just across Christian Andersen’s Haus, the place isn’t commercialized at all. Simple menu, few choices but all done right. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff (and adorable dog) with cosy settings. Make sure you reserve a table as we saw many got turned away even during lunch.

A completely adventurous experience. Superbly good food, beautiful presentation, great atmosphere, and one of the best things was Niels, who told a story for each dish. Highly recommended. Lunch or dinner, we will definitely be back.

Helt klart et besøg værd. Hele menuen var sat rigtig godt sammen med vin menuen👌🏻 kan helt klart anbefale stedet - også selvom man er business trip.

Et hyggelig lokale i sentrum av Odense. Et godt kjøkken og topp service. Vi bestilte sopp til forrett og hhv laks og kylling til hovedrett. God sammensatt og med vin som passet godt til rettene. Anbefales
