Restaurant Under Lindetræet Odense

Cozy place, great reception, nice space. We had Paris steak and a shooting star, a little bread "on the side" was missing for the prices and just enough mayo under the fish, but definitely delicious food, and 2 beers for 650,- reasonable. Torben

Update: the autumn menu has confirmed what I wrote in the spring. ___________ We were a little hesitant, a restaurant by HC Andersen's House, is it possibly a tourist trap? But it is not at all. The restaurant in a historic half-timbered house offers Danish traditional dishes in a very refined form, with a lot of flavor nuances. The waiter is very friendly and explains excellently what the ingredients are and how the dishes have been prepared. The restaurant is decorated with many antiques and is worth seeing in itself.

Great place and great with the waiter's story about the upcoming dining experience. And the food was just so delicious.

Exceptionally good food, beautifully presented. We didn't have a reservation; they not only seated us but graciously accomodated my shellfish allergy with a delicious alternative to the whitefish plate. Picturesque setting in a 17th C house typical of early Odense. The amiable host took the time to answer all of our questions about the house and its history, as well as the food.

Incredible experience. The food was delicious. My partner and I went for dinner, and the service was excellent; they explain each dish to you. The atmosphere is very peaceful, and the place is beautifully decorated. Dining there was quite an experience. I highly recommend it.

Came on a visit from New Zealand. What a fabulous meal we had. The host was wonderful and the food perfect. I hope we may return

A small but very nice restaurant. The people there are super friendly, and the food is delicious. We even had homemade beer. If you're hungry, I highly recommend this gem.

We can reommend the restaurant without any restrictions. Food was excellent and the service also. The stories as additionals to the meals were great. It was a great evening for ua and we happy that we choose Under Lindetrae for our last dinner in Odense.
