A very nice restaurant, cosy and "hyggelig" where you can enjoy delicious food. The Service is good and can help wich wine to pick ro the food. Polite, smiling, and observant. You will not regret it It is worth every cent.

Absolutely the best dining experience I've had in a long time, on par with Det Rode Pakhus on Bornholm, and even Hoppá! Bistro (one-star Michelin in Budapest). If you want sublime service from the waiter, gourmet at affordable prices and a splendid performance from the kitchen team, then Restaurant Valdemar is the place to visit. 5/5 from here.

Have been down and get shooting stars 2 times within 3 weeks, very different experiences. The first time it was perfectly fine and got 2 smaller fish fillets. The second time the fish was shriveled and only got one and a half? So one fillet was just cut in half 😂

Virkelig lækker og smuk tilberedt mad. Vi fik 3 forskellige hovedretter (fisk, kød og vegetar) og de smagte alle 3 SÅ godt. God betjening og hyggeligt sted . Kommer helt sikkert igen.

Lækker og veltillavet mad. Vi fik samme forret - skøn sammensætning og med lækre detaljer. Vi fik 3 forskellige hovedretter. Fisken var lækker og med dejligt tilbehør, kyllingen mør og saftig med perfekte kartofler og skønt tilbehør og steak som var stegt perfekt med den bedste salat (og dejligt rigeligt af den) og hertil en smagsrig bearnaise og de bedste store fritter vi nogensinde har fået.

02/03/2025: Thoroughly lovely experience. 4-course gourmet menu, in the hunter's room. Smiling and competent waiters who easily and without hesitation answered the questions we had about the menu and the wine. Thanks for the food.

20/02/2025: Was there for lunch with family. Everything was great and the staff gave time and patience to all the grandchildren. Great place.
18/02/2025: We had a lovely evening, with good food and wine. The service was top notch and so was the atmosphere. The reason I only give the food 4 stars is that, so close to Christmas, we don't feel like such a "massive" piece of meat for the main course, like neck. It reminded me of roast pork. The wine that was served was so good and rich in taste that it became the star. However, we will definitely look through the menu another time.
