Aesthetic was wonderful and the people were too. I can’t however give more than 3 stars to a specialty coffee place that asks “what size, small medium or large” when someone orders a flat white or cappuccino. There is no such thing. A flat white is 5-6 ounces. A cappuccino is the same.

A little hidden away, but well worth the search. A very warm welcome from the friendly and knowledgeable team behind the counter, where you'll also find this futuristic coffee machine. A lovely selection of their own roasts. Tables by the window and, for those who prefer a quieter spot, in the back corner. Indescribably perfect espresso, golden spot with good, balanced acidity.

I was in Copenhagen for a few days as a tourist and went to Roast every morning because the coffee was simply incredible. I am a coffee lover and visit coffee shops around the globe—Roast made it into my top 3. I was there for four days, always had a different barista, and always had a fantastic taste experience!

Brazilian coffee fit my specs- the very kind and gentle and friendly barista was able to discern which coffee I’d prefer by my description- important if you care about your coffee. Happy to have found this place- a local walked me over by accident- happy accident!

Highly highly recommend! Stumbled upon this lovely cafe off the main shopping road and truly a gem for coffee lovers. Their house blend is Duo, but you can also choose other single origins to try so do ask!! Went for a Costa Rica Catuai Varietal from Finca El Salitre and it delivered 🤤 Tips for people who wants to try good coffee: Look out for the information about the beans and if you can trace back to the farm that's already really good, to the farmer would be even better haha and ROAST Coffee does just that on their website

16/11/2025: King Hans Cellar is one of Copenhagen’s earliest Michelin-starred restaurants. The number and variety of amuse-bouches and petits fours immediately show how much care goes into the experience. The final dessert trolley — with 11 different items — is genuinely impressive, though almost overwhelming. Located in the city center, the restaurant is easy to reach. The only drawback is the weak phone signal, likely due to the building’s age. Amuse Bouche ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wasabi-driven sweet heat with a faint hint of oyster. Hors d’Oeuvre ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crisp, dairy-rich bite where the salmon is subtle. Shrimp cocktail: crunchy, rich and savoury. Caviar taco: crisp with a clean herbal aroma. Foie gras: sweet, smooth, and layered. Soft-boiled quail egg: bursts instantly, pairing caviar salinity with the richness of yolk. Truffle mille-feuille: flaky with intense black truffle aroma and oiliness. Fried croquette: warm, savoury, with a touch of heat. Scallop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The creaminess of the mousse, the salinity of caviar, and the sweetness of scallop merge into a rich sweet–savory–creamy bite. Dover Sole ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A firmer cut of fish with a sauce that leans more salty and acidic. Surf & Turf ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sweet–sour seasoning; lobster is fresh and sweet. The wonton-style component adds a playful twist. Stuffed Morels ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A very layered dish: creamy sauce, sweet onions, fresh asparagus, and the crisp umami of morels coming together beautifully. Quail ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A classic French preparation. Tender meat, truffle fragrance, and foie gras richness. Slightly heavy if eaten in quantity, but excellent in moderation. Lamb ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tender lamb with a sauce made from the animal’s favourite forage—an interesting and thoughtful detail. Champagne Granita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sweet–tart with clear yuzu notes showing citrus aroma, acidity, and mild bitterness. Belle de Boskoop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A dessert built entirely around apples—intense, varied, and surprisingly not monotonous. Kong Hans Dessert Trolley ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coconut sorbet with caviar — unexpectedly excellent pairing. Panna cotta — rich with strong mango flavour. Crêpe — theatrical and citrus-forward. 09/11/2025: It may “only” have two stars, but it is still the best restaurant in Copenhagen in my opinion. We had fantastic food, great service and the wine was top notch throughout. Truly a fantastic experience all the way through.
