A really charming border inn, located quite close to the border between Germany and Denmark in the small town of Rudbøl. There is a restaurant, swimming pool and beautiful nature. The rooms are older, but nice and clean. Right next to the inn is a campsite.

Place with good and delicious food. Nice that the food is served and comes around to those who are hungrier. Also good entertainment on site. The rooms need maintenance and especially the bathroom facilities could use better cleaning.

Great experience from start to finish! Everything was exactly as we had hoped. Marcel and the team provided a super professional and accommodating service. We felt in safe hands throughout. Highly recommended!

Super cozy old inn. Very authentic. The food is good and the service very friendly. The rooms are a good size and there is a view over the lake from most rooms. Saturday evening there is live music and after midnight Elvis goes on stage - really nice. Definitely an inn worth a visit.

11/08/2025: This was our second time there. The food is delicious, but the prices are outrageous. I got two small slices of bread and two very small meatballs and a nasty side dish for €10. My son's build-your-own burger had a kind of meatball that was too small for the bun. Another burger I ordered was okay, but for over €20, the side of fries was a real joke. The "Shooting Star" we ordered for over €20 is a fish sandwich with sauce. The staff, however, are very friendly and speak German and English.
07/08/2025: The food was boring and did not meet expectations. We had a bagel with salmon, where the bagel itself was dry and falling apart. The salad was brown and the salmon was very oily. The service was really good, however.
