Super cozy old inn. Very authentic. The food is good and the service very friendly. The rooms are a good size and there is a view over the lake from most rooms. Saturday evening there is live music and after midnight Elvis goes on stage - really nice. Definitely an inn worth a visit.

Nice little Gränsekro, just a stone's throw from the border crossing. We each got a wiener schnitzel, which filled most of the plates. On the side were butter-fried potatoes, peas and butter sauce. It was super delicious and not least in the setting of the old inn, which exuded a cozy atmosphere and history. The hosts were extremely hospitable and could tell about the area, as well as trips and experiences, such as The island of Herring and the Emil Noldes Museum and the bathing lake next to it, just over the border. We will definitely return and can highly recommend the place 🤗🙏🇩🇰♥️

A lovely stay at Rudbøl Grænsekro. A small holiday apartment in the old customs house next to the inn. Dog is allowed. Beautiful view of the water and the German border a few meters further down the road. The food is really delicious and the service is top notch. A beautiful historical place that I hope to be able to revisit. The inn is from the 18th century, and the small town is one of the only ones in Denmark built on top of a dyke. It's nice and quiet here on a windy February day.

30/07/2025: We were 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 11). When we had to pay we had to pay for 3 adults, as children are considered adults from 10 years old. I don't think that's entirely okay. The food is already on the expensive side. We've been a few times before, where we're sure we paid for 2 adults and 2 children, and they say the food they have is delicious. It's not a large selection, which is a bit of a bummer. But what it is, is delicious. It's usually a good experience coming here. But today's experience is a bit disappointing, as I definitely don't think children from 10 years old should pay as adults.

25/07/2025: Keep it up, some talented young people, we visited you on 25/7-25 And it was really busy. But the food came quickly and safely, big portions and reasonable prices. And they were so nice and smiling. Even though they were busy.
