This is my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Samuel, Jimmy, and the entire team were excellent. They’re really friendly and lovely to talk to, and most importantly they make delicious food! I had the 7 course tasting experience and it was amazing! i can’t recommend it enough. Great ambience too, i love the open kitchen. I’ll be back for sure.

It was first time for me and my friend went to Copenhagen. I got recommendation to try this Indonesian restaurant. Food was amazing and authentic. We ordered grill fish absolutely tasty!! And also fried duck with green chili and Tofu Gejrot typical street food. Restaurant was looking nice and staffs were super friendly. Shout to Fadil and Samuel, they were giving 5 stars services. I would recommended Saji Restaurant for people want to try Indonesian food. Definitely will come here if I visit Copenhagen again :) try to book in advance ;)

Love the vibe, authentic & high quality Indonesian resto (I’m Indonesian btw so this review is legit n local-verified 👍🏻) The satay & duck with sambal was just bomb ❤️❤️❤️

Mediocre value for money at best. Food is pretty good but the servings are tiny. Drinks are overpriced and 250 ml including the ice cubes. Need a snack when i get home.

The three of us ate there for the first time, and it was a truly wonderful experience. It was also my first encounter with Indonesian cuisine—and I was thrilled. The dishes were incredibly flavorful and felt like a mini culinary journey. The service was also excellent: the waiter was friendly, attentive, and very patient with our questions. I can absolutely recommend this place!

Best meal I had in Copenhagen. Food = incredible. Service = awesome. Environment = super fun. Highly recommend sitting at the bar so you can watch the action in the kitchen and talk food.

We have eaten at Saji regularly since they first opened their doors ago and they never disappoint. Their dishes & drinks are fantastic: authentic Indonesian made from Nordic ingredients where the result is truly something unique. You can definitely taste the care and craft that goes into each dish. On top of the food: friendly and welcoming staff with a chill vibe, too (music is always 👌). Honestly, it's one of the best Indonesian restaurants I have eaten ever (counting even the ones in Indonesia). We look forward to our next visit!

Saji is hands down my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. It’s got heart and soul, the flavours are so authentic you feel like you’re in Indonesia, and the guys behind this place are the most welcoming in Copenhagen - the service and quality of food here is truly what keeps bringing me back. Also the fried chicken and siomay udang. And Mariah Curry. Basically everything on the menu. I also bring everyone I know here and I don’t think I will ever stop, because everyone has the best time discovering what Saji has to offer. Keep it up, Saji - can’t wait to be back!!

The food was good but for the cost I expected to be wowed with either taste or portion size. We got the eggplant, the duck and the fish curry. Only the curry came with rice which was disappointing considering we got two other mains. It was yummy overall but I don’t know if I would come back at the current price point. The ambiance was great though!
