Sidste uges succes på Brasserie Le Petit Rouge med Claus ”Røde” Christensen i spidsen for køkkenet, fulgte vi op på i går, med middag på Restaurant Salon. Salon var i 2018 den første, nye restaurant for "Røde" Claus med Sovino-koncernen i ryggen, efter 28 år på egen hånd i Restaurant Gammel Mønt.
Vi lagde ud med et par lækre "hapsere": Andeleverterrin, blomme og mørk chokolade, h.h.v. Wagyu-okse anrettet på pære med soya og wasabi.
Vel vejledt fik vi Taille aux Loups, Chenin Blanc i glassene.
Derfra direkte til hovedretten, "Røde" Claus' signaturret: Indbagt pighvar med sort hummer, spinat og hummerbisque. Virkelig velsmagende og ikke en dråbe bisque blev levnet.
Vi rundede af med kokos-parfait, ananas-sorbet, lime og mørk rom.
Vi er glade for, at vi sprang forret over, for vi blev mere end mætte af ovennævnte.
Hvis det ikke havde været på en hverdag med en arbejdsdag forude, var vi nok blevet hængende lidt i vinbaren.
Det blev i alt en perfekt aften med super mad og betjening.

Very good restaurant where you are served delicious and mastered dishes. I recommend the pâté en croute, of which the chef is a champion, followed by the fish in puff pastry and its bisque, a signature dish of the chef. If you want to accompany your dishes with a few glasses of wine, be careful they are expensive.

Rigtigt lækkert sted, god stil og service og ikke mindst stemning på sådan en fyldt lørdag aften.
Fik lidt lækre snacks med bl.a. østers, herefter paté en croute og så skulle “delfinen” prøves og wow for en fiskeret!!!!! Outstanding til sidste bid, er et must hvis man kommer her.
Det hele løber op og vi er i den dyre ende for et restaurantbesøg, ikke mindst pga et stort vinkort som er meget dyrt prissat (desværre). Det sagt så er det et rigtig godt dyrt besøg😃

Really good restaurant with a nice menu that I have visited several times.
On this visit I perused the menu. A 4A page divided into two columns. Sandwiches on the left and the main courses on the right.
There were five of us and we chose a little differently.
For my part, it was dug salmon to begin with. Then roast pork with red cabbage and pickled cucumbers.
Both dishes nicely and simply presented. Absolutely great taste and crispy rind. I had to share the sauce with the person next to me who got duck. Sauerkraut and red cabbage lacked the spark and flavor of Christmas.
In the end, I finished off with the rice salamander of the house.
This was served on the largest plate in the house, specially designed for the smallest portions. In this context, a deciliter.
Neither the taste nor the quantity lived up to my expectations.
The service: as always good and present.
The atmosphere: characterized by many guests and a high noise level, which makes it difficult to talk together around the table.

As always, a wonderful experience at Salon. This time 3-course menu for 595; delicious lobster bisque, Duroc pig with mash, as well as a cheeky dessert + excellent wines.
The service is exquisite.
It didn't turn out to be Delfinen (baked turbot) this time - but it's a must-have at Salon.
