Very cozy but a little bit old because there was a bunk bed for children but there was a very narrow staircase up to it very expensive sweets but really nice service Located a little away from the city though

It was perfect for the weekend. Service was also nice, although a slow check-in process compared to other Scandic hotels I have been to.

We booked a family room at 11pm and checked in a few minutes past midnight. Sweet and nice receptionist who welcomed us and we were quickly in the room. Got a good price by signing up for their loyalty program and breakfast was included in the price... the best breakfast EVER! From now on I will only sleep at Scandic hotels in Denmark 😃👌

This hotel is placed in a area with nice surroundings. As part of the Scandic hotel chain this hotel offers nice rooms, good service and really great breakfast. We stayed here for one night and had a great stay. As guest you also have access to sauna, fitness room and swimmingpool. Prices are fair, service is great and the hotel itself is very appealing I recommend staying here if you are the type that wants convenience and a certain level of quality.

I was visiting for work. Was greeted with good energy at the reception. Easy check-in. Plenty of parking. Good space in the rooms

The hotel is nicely surrounded by green nature. Unfortunately, the hotel is getting a little tired, and not what it once was. However, very nice staff.

28/09/2025: Nice apartment at Nygade 11, large rooms. but we couldn't get into the hotel itself with our code, so we knocked hard on the door and we were then let in by some guests and then had our breakfast, the nice young man working in the breakfast restaurant said we needed a 6 digit pin code ?? But all in all a good place🌞☺️
31/08/2025: Good value for money. The only downside is that the doors cannot be closed “quietly” from the outside but slam. This means a bit of noise in the hallways.

21/08/2025: It has become great with their new method, and to handle orders. There are far fewer errors than before I feel. At least I have received the order lately. But the food is a bit boring to me now, they still have to stick to the classic burgers, but they could spice it up a little more. It is becoming a bit indifferent and bland in a way, but that is not only McDonalds Sønderborg's job and here they deserve praise and 5 stars for their service, as it is tip top.
21/08/2025: The windows should probably be cleaned thoroughly. Dead flies were lying beautifully on the windowsill.
