Good food, lovely floor staff, only the bartender was kinda of rude. He was " BUSY " with only one table inside such a shameless behaviour. It kinda of ruined the full experience.
Really nice food beautifully framed in a French bistro atmosphere and friendly staff!

The main course was very good - brisler - well cooked with lots of flavour. The starter was boring - 3 fried fish with lemon. Service was mediocre - when you ask for water it doesn't come - same with bread. At those prices, it just has to be right on all parameters.

Wonderful small bistro with food using few ingredients but of high quality, well seasoned and perfectly prepared. The mood is relaxed and the waiters are attentive. We had some amazing recommendation for wine and their selection is one of Copenhagen’s finest. Highly recommend to anyone looking for classic French bistro.

Cosy place for casual French dining. Located in a cobbled stone neighborhood in Copenhagen. Enjoyed the home style cooking that perfectly suited the Danish winter.
Trendy place which was completely full on Friday night when 2 of us ate there. The price for two people of DKK 1855 is OK, but with a slightly too traditional bistro atmosphere and boring flutes, it becomes 4 stars, and it could also be 3.5 stars.
And it is put into relief that I have eaten at many restaurants from the Michelin guide in Copenhagen.
And here Silberbauer's is at least one level lower than e.g. Restaurant Frank or Krogs Fiskerestaurant, which are in a completely different league.

I had onion pate for starter and cod for main course.
Onion pate had a crispy bottom. The taste was slightly sweet and there were pickled olives which gave the dish additional flavor nuances.
The cod was perfectly cooked. The vegetables lightly cooked so that there was bite in it, perfect.
I got an Odense Pilsner, which could be made a bit more of a drink for those who don't drink wine.
Dessert was coffee and calvados. And now comes my only complaint, the calvados was too round in taste, I prefer the sharper uncompromising calvados that Remarque describes a calvados should be.

Was decent, but expected more tbh. The food appeared a bit basic, and not super tasteful. Also quite expensive.
Feels like there are better French options in town.
