This place was such a treat. Whilst taking a mooch through the streets of Copenhagen we stumbled on this craft beer bar and thought it was worth a try. Given we were dining as a family we were unsure if this would be suitable but the menu and selection of beers tempted us to give it a try. I'm so glad we did as this place isn't just a bar - it's an experience. . The craft beer selection includes several UK favourites and countless others from around Europe and beyond. However, what was more impressive was the staff's knowledge of the beers and their enjoyment in helping you find the perfect drink. . The tasting platter is exceptionally good value for money and I would recommend purchasing this. . The food was also great and surpassed our expectations the Skaal burger was lovely and cooked to perfection. In summary, I loved this place!

Pleasant atmosphere if you are in good company

Spacious bar, with lots of tables, nice decor, friendly staff and a wonderful choice of beers. You will even find several gluten-free options! This place is perfect for groups and beer drinkers. If, on the other hand, you want to drink something else, the choice is very limited.

Think that Klaptræet became a restaurant. With lots of exciting beers and standard burgers.

As a person who does not drink alchohol or beer at all, I want to express my positive experience with ordering tea and hot cocoa on a saturday night in this bar. No unwanted comments or jokes on my order from staff or other guests at the bar, very good service overall. Very welcoming environment and positive experience.

Competent beer tasting with super host

Ordering beers and food is done at the bar, which takes some getting used to, but it works quite well. On our evening the place was full. The beers and snacks we had were consistently delicious. The craft beers were all fresh and juicy. I liked the digital board or system. The price/performance ratio is totally fine for Danish standards.

It is popular to drink your favorite beer at Skaal. There are many beers to choose from. Excellent food, various burgers and other dishes including vegetarian.

Huge selection of beers! Unfortunately, you may end up standing in a queue for a long time. And you are also allowed to pay for the selection to be larger and more special.
