Skagen Fiskerestaurant Frederikshavn

We had a very nice evening in a very cozy place. When it comes to the food, unfortunately the fish was too well cooked and was a bit dry. The staff was nice and attentive but maybe a little unlucky when they thought less than five minutes after we ordered a bottle of bubbly for an aperitif they came in with our food and the wine to go with it. I would love to come back but I will be extra clear that we need some time between an aperitif and food

Excellent restaurant. We had a three course prix fixe dinner including a wine pairing with each course. We talked to them ahead of time and they made sure everything was gluten free. Everything was delicious. The server was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Basic menu and lacking in service.

Ok service. A bit strange getting ketchup for fish though. Price level ok.

Had a lovely Stjerneskud which was extremely tasty. Sitting in the sun here is just lovely, and with a small selection of the harbour activities. Try it..

Went here for lunch and honestly found it a bit overrated. We tried the lobster, pan-fried salmon, and fish soup — all were just average and nothing really stood out. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant with a nice view, but given the high prices, the food didn’t feel worth the cost.

The wonderful atmosphere of a fisherman's pub with dune sand on the floor. I had fish and chips from Skagen style... unfortunately, they were way too salty, even the tartar sauce and mayonnaise... and the fish was obviously frozen. I would have expected much better, especially since the fishing port is right on the doorstep... what a pity ☹️ My husband had fish soup, which tasted okay, but a little more filling would have been nice.

Endnu bedre end vi næsten kunne huske. Fantastisk beliggenhed, hygge, stemning, dygtige og venlige tjenere og så super mad. Vi fik en taste og Skagen-tallerken med masser af forskellige fisk og skaldyr, rejerne blev endda pillet, skøn pesto og ditto aioli. Fish and Chips, oh la la den bedste af slagsen i Danmark, med hele tre slags fisk; havtaske, skærising og kuller med aioli og tatare med rygende varme gode fritter, og skønt hjemmebagte små brød og hjemmelavet smør. Hertil den frisk hvidvin og Skawskum-øl. Et sted man ikke har lyst til at forlade.

Super lækker mad, flot serveret og veltilberedt og helt frisk. Dejlige omgivelser, skønt personale, kun varme anbefalinger herfra.
