It's delicious what they bake. But even though you have self-service, you have to be polite and talk to the customers. It seems like it's forbidden to talk to the customers and they just point to the sign if you ask something. SUPER annoying.
That's why I probably won't shop there again.

There are really many (good) bakeries in Kbh. now. Skruen's was needed because otherwise you have to go on quite a trip in this area to find a baker. But then, let's be completely honest. It's ok, good sourdough bread and the staff are nice. But there is a very small selection and the cakes are boring.
I think there is a long way to go for Hart and the like.
But that is not the mission here either.
It's small, local and sometimes open. (Just not on Sundays).

First time at Skruens after many recommendations from friends in the neighbourhood. Their BMO and sourdough bread did not disappoint! Looking forward to trying it again next weekend.

Small personal bakery, where the owner himself is often there, which is really cool compared to the now large bakeries in kbh. Delicious bread and buns and good pizza dough. Really good sweet pastries have also arrived now. Partly self-service but also good service!

Compared to other bakeries, Skruens has nailed the BMO. No skimping on the good cheese and butter, which is a positive detail. However, you are also allowed to pay for it, and for me the BMOs are a bit expensive compared to that it is basically just a takeaway bakery with self-service / service without seating. Compared to e.g. Andersen & Maillard, where you can sit in a café and enjoy your bun/pastry.
The sourdough bread is also good, but gets dry a bit quickly when it has been in the bag for a day+. Haven't tasted the rye bread. The pastries from Flere Fugle are fine, e.g. the spinners, and helps to make the selection slightly larger.
However, it would be great if it were open on Sundays, or if two, three or four seats were made in there, you could change things around a bit or put chairs outside in the summer and create more life.
Could also be delicious with sandwiches or foccaccia, e.g. one vegetarian and one with meat toppings.
