Skyttehuset Vejle

Very nice, even a little luxurious place with great views and little, cute attractions around. Lady that served us was really polite and bright, she even teaches us a little pronunciation of danish words :) We've got some chicken and fish sandwich, that was really good. Wholesome experience, I approve :)

Everything was great! The lady who served us was really wonderful – polite, talkative, and a bit teachy (but in a good way!). She taught us a little about Denmark, the language, and the local area. The food was great – big portions (we had Faxe Kondi, chicken, and fish dishes), all fresh and tasty. It’s a perfect place to visit after a long walk by the fjord and the city :). The restaurant has a lovely, atmospheric style.

A cozy place with good food and lovely surroundings. It's great that in the summer you can go straight out into the garden with a beautiful view.

Now it was time to taste a shooting star in Vejle. We chose to visit Skyttehuset to see if their shooting stars can live up to the rumors. We arrived at 14:20 and ordered the food 8 minutes later. It took 13 minutes and then it was on the table. Quite impressive. Exciting to find out if the quick service has affected the quality. First impression is very positive, as the eye catches the breaded butter-fried fish fillet. The base consisted of a delicious piece of wheat bread, which was butter-fried on both sides. That's how it should be done. Some might think there is a little too much butter, but I think it's fine. Then we find the two fish fillets both lovely and warm. They tasted really good. The shrimp of the hand-peeled kind, as well as the cold-smoked salmon, also tasted super good. The homemade dressing (a cocktail dressing), tasted exactly as it should. The only problem was that there was just below what I use. So a little more in the bowl would be appreciated. All the greens were fresh and in the right amount. When I now base my assessment of the shooting stars on the menu, it should of course be mentioned that the pickled asparagus was not on the plate. I was missing a waiter who came and asked about the food, so I had to go to the waiter myself after we had finished eating and ask if they had run out of asparagus. He asked the chef, who confirmed that they had run out. He considered using fresh green asparagus, which they chose not to use. Ask me and I would have liked to have swapped the pickled asparagus for the green one. As compensation, we got a cup of coffee after the meal. This shooting star is at the top of the shooting stars that I have tried. If everything had played out, it would have landed at 4.8/5, but a missing ingredient pulls 0.5 down, so it ends up at 4.3/5.

Lovely shooting star with a good composition. Not often you experience it being served with warm fish fillet, bread and white wine steamed fish on the same plate. So praise from here. They forgot the little detail which was asparagus it would have been delicious if it had been included. So a 3.8 from here 👌

Very tasty, great ambiance, and, above all, a beautiful location. This restaurant is located in the middle of a park on the edge of Veijler Fjord. The food is high-quality, delicious, and attractively presented. At €30-40 per person, the price is mid-range.

The ice cream tasted good The medium soft ice cream was supposed to cost 39 kr, but she kept saying 49 kr... and when I said no 39 kr, well that's what I'm saying.. I didn't get a receipt even though I said several times are you sure... The ice cream tasted good and cold, so I got a brain freeze, But THIRTY-NINE KRONER.... stop yourselves.

Really nice and cozy place with friendly staff. Stjerneskut, tasted really good, however I thought the bread and fish fillet were a bit too greasy. Should have dripped a little more on a piece. The presentation could also be a little nicer.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A fantastic experience at Skyttehuset in Vejle Today I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Skyttehuset with my girlfriend. We chose the mussels in a creamy wine sauce – a real hit. Perfectly cooked, rich in flavour, and lovingly prepared. What made it extra special was the peaceful atmosphere and friendly service. We were helped immediately and felt welcome right away. No rush, no crowds – just relaxed dining in beautiful surroundings. A hidden gem in Vejle as far as we are concerned. We will definitely be back! 🥂🐚✨
