Skyttehuset Vejle

We went here for Valentine’s Day. The food was delicious, I had the chicken breast and my fiancé had the fish filet. The chicken was tender and not dry at all and the potatoes were also very tasty. Service was punctual. It was a bit quiet in there as there was only one other couple but I’m sure in the summer the atmosphere is a bit more lively.

Good food and atmosphere. Super good service. Cozy premises and an incredibly beautiful garden. There will be a number of small, intimate concerts in the garden. Perfectly located with a view over Vejle. Direct view of Vejle's landmark Bølgen. Really worth a visit. On the other side of the road is Dyrehaven. Then a new restaurateur came on board. However, it is the worst experience. Christmas lunch: Too little food and poorly prepared. Really a bad experience.

The first time we ate lunch at Skyttehuset, and maybe also the last time. The food tasted okay, but did not live up to the price. 198.- for a burger or a shooting star, which can be both cheaper and better elsewhere in the city. The level of service was also disappointing. Long wait to order, long wait for drinks. We had to ask ourselves for the menu for coffee and dessert, and here too there was no follow-up on taking orders. The coffee came long before the cookies and dessert. Fortunately the weather was good and the view was perfect 🌞
