Very friendly staff, very accommodating and even spoke to us in German :) I and my friends were here several times and the atmosphere was always very good. Very tasty chocolate rolls, cinnamon rolls and cakes. We will miss this bakery!!!!!!!

It’s been 10 years since my last visit, and it was so lovely to see that this place is still fantastic. Unbeatable on price quality and lovely staff.

25/06/2025: It was absolutely fantastic! Incredibly delicious food and above expectations. Went for the 10-course tonight but next time I'm in Aalborg we'll definitely go for the full 13-course. Compliments to the chef & the service. A must for everyone to eat here.

15/06/2025: An absolutely fantastic experience! We had 10 courses with a wine menu. Super cozy atmosphere in the restaurant and really skilled waiters. It was 10 explosions of taste beautifully presented. Exciting wines from Hungary and Germany put the finishing touch on a perfect evening in the company of good friends. If you haven't tried eating at Restaurant Applaus in the center of Aalborg, I would recommend that you invest in a truly great dining experience.
29/03/2025: Exciting menu in the new Nordic style and for reasonable money. We had 10 tastings but without caviar. Excellent performance and taste experience. We only missed a better selection of non-alcoholic drinks suitable for food. I had to extract from the restaurant manager that they were actually conducting an experiment and agreed to be the guinea pig. It was promising, but a tad too sweet after the 2nd glass.
