Bought their New Year's menu which we prepared ourselves with the accompanying instructions. Great menu with the certainty that you won't leave the table hungry. The only small minus was that the accompanying piece of beef fillet was cut a bit sloppy and needed better finishing to remove the last scenes. Otherwise an absolutely fine menu which can be recommended for a cozy New Year's Eve

12/09/2025: Having only arrived in Haderslev about an hour after 4 hours of travelling we found CAFE MAD. As seems the norm with Danes in the day & a half we've been here the staff were pleasant, polite & welcoming. We had their version of good old fish & chips - it was gorgeous & plentiful, so much so that my partner had to leave some. We would recommend anyone visiting Haderslev to "hunt down" CAFE MAD - IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL. Darren & Dawn from the UK.
