Slusen Højer, menu Tønder

It's nice and peaceful here. The food is good. But there is a long wait for service. So you need to have plenty of time if you eat here.

A lovely spot by the Højer lock, behind the dike. A large parking area with plenty of space and a good starting point for walks along the dike. The area is quiet and offers a beautiful view of the marsh. We had a stormy night, but overall it was very peaceful. Toilets are available, though they are a bit dated and could use some renovation. Nevertheless, it's a nice place to spend some time and enjoy the scenery – especially with a dog.
