Nice historic building with a lovely view of the lake from the terrace. We got a lunch dish with herring, fish fillet and chicken salad, which tasted good, but I have never seen the size so small compared to the price. The service was characterized by that there were many guests for Sunday lunch🤣

Beautifully located cafe, always a good experience, the place good service, and delicious food is a pleasure. The staff are top professionals, and you feel welcome in the most delicious premises and surroundings. The food is exquisitely good, good ingredients prepared by skilled and passionate chefs.

Although to an incomprehensible degree - so close to Copenhagen - and yet so Sleeping Beauty-like that the decision to move on becomes difficult. Sensible portions, excellent quality and service as it should be.

A thoroughly mediocre, bordering on indifferent experience. In return, it was expensive. The food was uninteresting, over salted and almost not prepared. There were enough staff, and those who were there didn't really know who was doing what or when. The last bright spot was their remoulade.

Den Røde Cottage

11/05/2024: We held my daughter's confirmation at the red cottage on 4 May 2024. The menu and wine were well planned in advance with Jakob Choo. The food was really delicious. Beautifully arranged and served. Service was extremely professional. The weather was good, so a welcome drink and coffee were served on the large heated terrace. We had a really good day.

17/09/2024: Absolutely perfect atmosphere! We had lunch in the autumn sun on the edge of the spring lake, completely relaxed
09/09/2024: One of my favorite spots for food and drinks in Klampenborg! Cozy atmosphere surrounded by forrestry and a pond right outside of Bakken amusement park. They serve Hansens Ice cream popsicles and several dishes and appetizers and great beer selection on tap. Equally wide wine selection: we were impressed they served Georgian wines. One to try on the menu: The rhubarb dessert tart and spicy chicken burger.
