Excellent food, prices, and service also speed I don't understand how anyone could give it a bad rating

I've been here twice with my family. The atmosphere is very good and fun, especially if you are with kids. Food is a bit basic level, but definitely not bad.

The fries were cooked well and tasted good. However the burgers were only okay. Not bad, but not as good as they should be for the type of place. Staff were friendly. Baileys milkshake was pretty strong xD.

Stacey’s is a perfect example of a place where looks win over taste. I’ve walked past it many times and always thought it looked like a really fun, well-designed restaurant. It’s styled as a classic American diner, and I was genuinely happy to see a themed restaurant like this in Denmark – we don’t have many of them. When we finally went in, I was really impressed by the effort they’ve put into the interior. From floor to ceiling, they’ve committed to the theme – from the wall art and furniture to the tiniest details like the menus and salt-and-pepper holders. On presentation alone, it felt like a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match up. We both had a burger and a strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was okay, but it tasted more like synthetic strawberry ice cream than anything fresh. Sweet, thick, and drinkable – but far from special. You can also get that on McDonald's. The burgers were a real let-down. Mine was one of the driest I’ve ever had – the bun was so dri ang cracked and fell apart a soon as I began to grab around it. It looked like a nice brioche bun but it was far from the soft and buttery bun you would expect. The patty lacked flavour, and the bacon inside was limp and undercooked. You want crispy bacon. The dressings didn't taste like much. The whole burger felt like something quickly assembled without much care or love. My husband had a different burger with a fried egg, but his experience was pretty much the same. I was honestly surprised by how poor the food was, especially considering how much effort has gone into creating such an inviting and immersive atmosphere. It feels like they’ve focused all their attention on the theme and left the kitchen behind. I wouldn’t go back for the food, but I still appreciate the creativity and commitment to the theme. 3 out of 5 – purely for the visual experience. Note: They give 10% student discount which was super nice. Because almost 200 kr for a burger and shake of this quality without any fries was definitely not value for money.

I have a soft spot for themed restaurants, and this one has definitely nailed the interior of an American 1950s Diner! Too bad they haven't nailed the food too... The strawberry milkshake tasted like cheap strawberry ice-cream, the burger buns were dry, the meat tasted like nothing, the onion rings on top had definitely been refried several times. We won't be coming back :(

It’s a long way to catch Køge Stacy’s diner. Was just one Girl at work and she was not koncenrating about costumes…..she was busy with the people who was coming wrong the street to pee……(cost 10kr). Did not like it!!! No spit of Stacy’s diner!!!!😢

Exciting place with attention to details! I recommend the Chevy burger, the whole table ordered it and we all loved it! The play areas are great as well and my 4 year old nephew had a blast. I wish the plantbased dessert options would be made with more love. They are either more expensive, lack whipped cream etc. or both. I really think Stacy's Diner should have a standard for everyone as to what they want to serve. <3 Regardless, I will definitely be back! Thank you for the great meal and experience. Love the theme, music, dresses, and decor :-)

My first time here. The room feels quite stuffy and feels a little too warm in an uncomfortable way. It was by no means hot that day. It actually adds a lot to the experience. The food is acceptable, but for the price you expect more. service is fine and waiting time for the food is ok. The decor is what you would expect from an American diner.

Had an amazing lunch here. It wasn't crowded, but if it was it wouldn't be a punishment to wait around in the diner. It was nicely decorated with all sorts of American license plates. The food itself is something i reckon is typically American: pretty sweet but nicely tasting. The chicken and waffles tasted nice. Only downside was the price. It might be normal priced for Danish standards, but for a Dutchman like me, it was a little pricey
