If you want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and tranquility of Funen, I can highly recommend Stella Maris. My wife and I were on a Whitsun trip and stopped by Stella Maris, it was the first time we were there, but it certainly won't be the last. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with kindness and we felt very welcome. After we got to our room there was a personal greeting, and again you just felt like they were making an effort to add that finishing touch... we had a view of the sea and "wow" what a view, the garden with loungers, the terrace, the restaurant, in general all the surroundings were just perfect and delicious... I didn't get everyone's names but thank you for making our stay with you something very special, we will come again 100% for sure..

Went for coffee after a funeral. Nice surroundings, had layer cake and coffee, but unfortunately the coffee was only lukewarm.

11/05/2026: On Thursday, May 7, 12 of us gathered for a cozy dinner at SvendborgSund. We had booked a table for 6:30 p.m. where we started with a drink, while we ordered food from the May menu, which was Svendborg Ham with White Asparagus with truffle mayonnaise, salad and pickled onions, and then Beef Fillet Steak with Celery Puree, Asparagus Saute, baby carrots, roasted potatoes and creamy tarragon sauce. One of the participants says he is a wine connoisseur, so he chose a lovely white wine for the starter and a delicious red wine for the main course. When the chef was ready with the starter, we were nicely and politely asked by a very professional waitress to take a seat so that we could be served. It was a really delicious starter, and then came the main course, a lovely juicy steak cooked just right, so all in all it was a super good experience, so we highly recommend SvendborgSund the next time you are in town and have a super good experience.

19/04/2026: A thoroughly good experience, where price and quality go hand in hand. The setting is beautiful and cozy and exudes quality. The table setting is beautiful! The service is incredibly pleasant, professional and easy. The food was really good, beautifully presented and consisted exclusively of good ingredients.
28/03/2026: We really like coming to Thudes. The food is mostly really good, however, today we experienced a dish - TURBULENT BISQUE WITH WILD RICE AND FRESH HERBS AND FISH AND SHELLFISH OF THE DAY - where we got 1/2 a scallop! It's simply too small... We'll come again and hope you're not so stingy in the future.
