Stenbjerg Kro Thisted

Visited the Stenbjerg Kro in connection with the West Sea Camino. Perfect service, good homemade food. Really cozy place and very nice host. Definitely worth a visit.

Udefra syner kroen umiddelbart ikke af meget men det kompensere køkkenet og utrolig venlig personale for!! Maden er utrolig lækker og når man nu er der kan man jo nappe en af deres hjemmelavede krydder snaps.

Only visited the restaurant. The food was really delicious. Service fine. However, the room is not very cozy and feels a bit like sitting in a cafeteria. But all in all a good experience, although mainly because of the food.

We had a fantastic lunch and super service, with a nice chat with the host. If we come to these edges, we will definitely come again.

The Kro has a bilingual menu (D/DK) with interesting dishes in the upper price segment. Fine cuisine with the finest/fresh/regional ingredients.

Stenbjerg kro looks more like a campsite than an inn (as I imagine an inn), but STOP anyway, because what a charming North Jutland service and the food is unsurpassed! We visited the inn cfbm. The Western Camino. Sleep in a cabin, good space and good beds, clean and tidy. But if you don't want to spend the night, stop and eat. Local ingredients. A menu I still dream about. Generous portions and the feeling that everything is homemade and produced! Yum!
