Strandens Ishus Sønderborg

An ideal spot in good weather. One small drawback – there were no red sausages in the hot dog.

What a delicious ice cream! 😋 It's addictive! 😇

Great hot dogs and ice cream, and then enjoying the view of the fjord from the beach… what more could you want?

I had the best soft serve ice cream ever here. This is how (Danish) soft serve should taste. The portions are huge; even for me, a soft serve fanatic, the medium portion was plenty (see photo with one small and two medium portions). The server spoke perfect German and was very friendly. So, if you love soft serve ice cream, a visit here is a must when you're in Sønderborg.

Update 2026: Das Softeis mit Schokostreuseln ist einfach unübertroffen lecker!!!!!!!!! ---------------------------------- We enjoyed our stop very much: Very friendly staff, super yummy soft ice cream with chocolate sprinkles, the Hotdog was good and the French Fries (Pommes frites) enough for 2 and really delicious 😋. We can highly recommend this place even if you need to wait a bit 😊.

Right on the beach Highly recommended fries, large portion Delicious ice cream Staff speaks German

Delicious hot dogs and very friendly staff

Small stall on the beach. They sell drinks such as coffee and soft drinks, as well as fruit, milk and soft ice cream.

Good ingredients, the ice creams are big and the staff is smiling. We will definitely come again and it is worth a visit🌞

Very delicious ice cream, especially the soft serve.
