We celebrated an 85th birthday in Restaurant Blå at Blokhus Strandhotel. We sat in our own room in the “Orangeriet”. Cozy and bright room with a view of the hotel courtyard.
Everything was perfect - super delicious creative food with matching wines. Service-minded and informative staff, who presented both food and wine so excitingly that the experience was complete.
The warmest recommendations from here. We will definitely come again.
The service is unbelievable weak in restaurant. If you wanna play the five star game you gotta act like the five star game. This is at most three stars

You can already feel it upon arrival – the atmosphere that exudes tranquility, quality and vacation. The beach hotel in Blokhus manages to capture the essence of the Danish summer idyll with its beautiful. Good food and service, cozy courtyard. On a hot summer day, air conditioning is missing.
Very nice hotel, great location. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very classy restaurant, although a bit more expensive. Plenty of parking available.
We have stayed at this hotel twice and it is arguably one of the best local non branded hotels that I have experienced. There is now one special wow factor - it’s just the fact that all works from A-Z. Great location, ample parking, clean hotel, decent sized rooms with comfortable bathroom, balcony, inclusive minibar offering, very nice and good quality restaurant - and breakfast! Wow (that was a wow factor for me) good decent spread yet all items of very high quality - it was a true pleasure to start the day with such a breakfast!
