Svaneke Brød Bornholm

Of the bakeries we visited on Bornholm, this one was the best. Delicious sourdough bread and wonderful sweet pastries (especially sea buckthorn cake)

Svaneke Brød & Svaneke Blomster is a delightful combination of bakery and flower shop that shouldn’t be missed. The bread and pastries are homemade, ecological, and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the sourdough bread, which was reasonably priced at just 34 DKK, and the hawthorn pastry. The pastry stood out for being perfectly balanced—not overly sweet—which I personally find refreshing, especially compared to many other Danish pastries. Right next to the bakery, you’ll find a beautifully curated flower shop filled with unique decorations and stunning floral arrangements. It’s not just a shop—it’s an experience. Whether you’re treating yourself or picking up a gift, this place offers something truly special. Highly recommend a visit!

Great little shop with delicious baked goods.

It's probably a bit hyped, also by my travel guide "Glücksorte auf Bornholm". One of the few companies with poor results in food law inspections and the cinnamon roll was bread-like dry on the outside.

Super casual. The bread is worth its price. Enjoy the freshly baked pastries with a coffee in front of the door or in the store and the day is perfect!

The dough is slightly fermented. The mood of the owner determines whether he is professional or sloppy and speaks highly of one to his staff.
