Syttende is a fantastic restaurant which exceeded my expectations for a 1-star Michelin restaurant. In my eyes you deserve 2 Michelin stars. The food is at a very high international level, tasty, beautiful, delicious and creative. Big plus that you focus so much on local ingredients (even from Barsø!) The service is probably the best I have ever experienced. All waiters are suitably attentive and present food and wine with an appropriate level of detail, where they do not dwell unnecessarily long on small details, e.g. about the wine. Furthermore, there were several top examples of pairing food and wine (which were at 3-star Michelin level), for example at dessert. Although we were there for 5 hours, the time was not long. Perhaps also helped by a perfectly timed break, where you just stretch your legs. Great experience that I would like to try again another time.

It has been a really good experience

Fantastic experience. I visited the seventeenth with a few good friends, where the gentlemen in the company had received the experience as a Christmas present. A total experience out of the ordinary, although I can be a picky eater at times, everything was beyond satisfactory. The gentlemen got the full wine menu for the Echo menu, the ladies a half white wine wine menu. Everything about the evening was 100% in order. The reception, the hospitality and not least the food, which was plentiful.
