Tavola Calda Gentofte

The food was very good. But it doesn't have a menu but a fixed concept. We were served very friendly by the staff. The price is fair for the quality of the food.

My experience of Italian cuisine is that it is about simple combinations of the best ingredients. There is an understanding that, for example, you cannot get good tomatoes all year round, and that if you really want the best produce, you have to follow the season. That's really the feeling you get at Tavola Calda. Things don't flow together and you can sense that emphasis is placed on quality above all else. The service is polite and knowledgeable about the food and wine. You can ask anything and both waiters and chefs answer with a smile. In addition to that, it must be said that the restaurant has an exciting wine list which also includes several natural wines. We ate there for lunch on an autumn Saturday, but we will definitely go back on a summer evening for a spritz out in the sun. Clear recommendation for anyone who wants to be sent on a trip to the land of pleasure, Italy, if only for a few hours.

Great service, delicious menu, 3 out of 4 starters were excellent, the 2 pasta dishes as well, the dessert (Affogato) was disappointing, the ice cream crystallized and the espresso shot ice cold. Would love to come again though

Great Italian restaurant. They have a menu of the day with different appetizers, primo, secondo and desserts to share. We paid 1020 dkk for two people. Fair price for the quality we got!

Very helpful staff who welcome you in a very nice environment where you can spend a nice evening. The place is always full because the food is very good but you can talk calmly. The choice of menu changes based on the seasonality of the products that arrive directly from Italy. The combinations that are proposed are simple but very interesting! They really reflect Italian cuisine. The "bread" served as an accompaniment to each dish is truly delicious!

We had dinner with friends a few days ago and it was a beautiful evening. The dishes were all very good with quality organic raw materials, another positive side is that you won't leave hungry. The wine list is not overly long and they have a good selection of natural wines. A cozy environment where you can still talk to those sitting next to you, the service is very punctual and attentive. It is not a tourist-catching restaurant but an Italian restaurant that does very well in Copenhagen, I will return!

They know what they are doing: Small menu, costs them nothing but it tastes delicious Great focaccia bread,warm, it makes up for the little portions Wine that would cost you 10-20 euros in Italy but they taste good here even if you pay 5x All in all it’s a very good place. I recommend it

Solid Italian trattoria. Well made servings at a fair price. Wine selection not that impressive but good enough.

Tavola Calda serverer en meget lækker, veltillavet og velsmagende autentisk italiensk middag. Dagens menu består af 4 forskellig antipasti serveret enkeltvis, 2 primi og 1 dolce. Serveringen er meget venlig og imødekommende.
