The Fat Greek has in a very short time become one of my absolute favorite places for good take away in Copenhagen. Here you get absolutely good gyros, either lamb, pork or chicken. And there is always enough food when you order from here. A clear recommendation to visit the place!

The staff was very kind and toke great care of us, and made sure to serve us warm food even when we were late for our pick-up. We also got some delicious extra fries, so big shout out to The Fat Greek!🤩🤩✨️

A really nice gyros with lamb – lots of meat, which tasted super good. However, there was only half a tomato and very little onion in it, so it was a bit monotonous. I could also have used a little more tzatziki in it, as it was a bit too dry. All in all, a large and good portion for the price, but the gyros was a bit dry, and the other ingredients tomato, onion and tzatziki were almost non-existent, unfortunately. The bread was really good! I might consider trying it again if it was adjusted. Recommendation from here.

Disappointed in the veggie alternative. Would be nice with some real vegan protein instead of just vegetables. It’s just not a satisfying replacement. Seitan for ex. would be dope.

Really good food! The gyros was very tasty — I had the chicken menu, and it was full of flavor. The meat was juicy, and the mix of spices was spot on. Definitely worth coming back for!

really exceptional gyros, especially the lamb - which was tender and juicy. tastes pretty damn close to street gyros you can get in greece which is incredible! will be returning

So I tasted their gyros and fries ans sauce for 139 dkk. It was so worth it. The price and the quality of food and service is amazing. Gyros were so tasty omg, but a bit little too salty so I couldn't taste seasoning a bit, but still so freaking good. Fries were seasoned so well and tasted so good, but they were little hard for my teeth and too crispy, not the most fresh ones, but they tasted amazing still! I just wish I got napkins when I ordered take out. I was given a bag that was closed off with staples, so I couldn't see I was given greasy food with zero napkin inside :) but the taste was amazing!

Gasoline Grill Tivoli

19/12/2025: The Gasoline Grill in Tivoli serves one of the better burgers I had in all of Copenhagen! The cashier was very helpful in helping me understand what all went on the burger. The downfalls was that there was a kid throwing a tantrum who was all over the floor and knocked his own cup over and would not stop crying. I guess I’m not sure — maybe he didn’t like his chicken nuggets. The atmosphere isn’t anything special, at least not on the inside. There’s no great views or things to really look at. Kind of feels industrial. But the burger was great!
18/12/2025: The lemonade did not taste like what I'm used to. Definitely not fresh squeeze for it to be call organic.

15/12/2025: I was here for a big company event, and we had a buffet setup with a starter beforehand. Overall, for a buffet, I would say it was quite decent. I like buffets, and I also like this ready-made, catering-style food because you can just eat a lot, and that was honestly quite nice. I wouldn’t say the food was really good, but I also wouldn’t say it was bad. I’d put it right in the middle. We had pork and some side dishes, and there was really nothing to complain about. Everything was fine. You can’t really compare this kind of food to high-end dining, because it’s just not that type of experience. It is what it is, and you have to rate it accordingly. I didn’t visit the restaurant on a normal evening. This was more of a booked event where you order food for a large group and basically take over the place, so that context matters. Within that frame, I thought it was quite decent. The potato soup was quite thick, which I really liked, and the pork was nice as well. I generally enjoy this type of food, and I’m not that picky when it comes to buffet-style meals, but I also rate it for what it is. All in all, a solid experience.
