Second time with friends, I thought they should have the experience too.
Everyone was happy. The employees are super attentive, helpful and knowledgeable.
Just look and get off, and then finish off the Orangery, which I also have
given 5*****.

Cozy little museum about a lesser-known married couple from the Danish Golden Age.
The only minus is the Orangery, which is too expensive in relation to the quality of the food.

Very cozy little museum. They managed to create a creative atmosphere in the house with various things presented where you could take a minute and create something yourself. Everything in the same spirit as the house was used for in the 19th century.

It is too expensive for what you get. Otherwise, a beautiful oasis.

Kamma and Knud Rahbek's home is almost in their time, and you can imagine a busy and pleasant time with all the poets and philosophers of that time - i.a. H.C. Andersen often came by. Can also highly recommend the small eatery in the Orangery outside - perfect service and good quality in the dishes we got, with homemade lemonade.

It was fascinating to be able to enter the rooms where so many notables came 200 years ago. The small video which tells about H.C. Andersen's meeting with the house's hostess Kamma Rahbek was good to get a sense of. I wanted to read Andersen's "Fodreise".
Nice little museum shop, possibility of a refreshment in the gazebo in the garden.

The Hill House Museum was decent! The exhibition rooms, both permanent and temporary, were wonderful to view! However, considering the museum's small size, the 60 DKK admission felt pricey for just several rooms in two floors. It would be great if the owners added more exhibitions to justify the admission fee.
On a positive note, the garden was absolutely lovely!

A small, hidden gem in the middle of Frederiksberg that makes the city melt away while you travel back in time and at the same time feel the rural idyll.
It is recommended to leave early in the morning, so that you can first enjoy a cup of coffee and the day's dessert in the orangery, and then take in Bakkehuset afterwards. Definitely worth a visit, which can easily be linked with other beautiful parks and attractions in the immediate area.
You can advantageously buy a joint ticket to a total of four museums in Frederiksberg with a 20% discount on presentation of a receipt from the orangery.
