The South Indian København

I highly recommend this restaurant for good food and peaceful environment. I ordered dosa, chicken masala, idli and spinach lamb everything was good and enjoyed the food alot. Will definately visit the next time if i go around the place.

Excellent food, highly recommended! The dosa was one of the best we’ve had anywhere! The lamb sukha and patathas are excellent too.

Most visiting restaurant in Copenhagen . You will get the most authentic and proper South Indian food here. We tried chetinad chicken masala, Butter chicken and the best one lamb sukka . The place gives us homie vibes and the staff was really sweet with us. We will definitely visit again. Thank you

Genuinely It was such an amazing indian food I have ever tried . Lam sukka , chicken pepper fry and masala dosa was on top . Service was on next level too . I highly recommended to visit 'The south indian '♥️

Nice place if you are craving for South Indian food We ordered idli and onion uttapam The idlis were not soft but they agreed to change I was surprised they charged us for water Every restaurant here serves free water but to my shock this restaurant charged 15dkk for water

If you’re craving good South Indian food, this spot delivers. The masala dosa was spot on — crispy, fresh, and stuffed with a perfectly spiced potato masala. The sambar and chutneys alongside were flavorful and comforting. I also tried their Chettinad Chicken, and it was a fun surprise. Juicy chicken tossed in a chat masala-style spice mix, tangy with just the right amount of heat. Good restaurant for Indian food in CPH but at a heavy price.

Coming back to The South Indian (Vesterbro) always feels a bit like coming home. I used to work here, and seeing how the place still keeps its soul — the warm energy, the amazing food, the kind team — honestly makes me feel great every time. The dosas, the spices, the atmosphere — everything tastes just as I remember, maybe even better. And now with Indian wines on the menu, it’s even more special 🍷🇮🇳 If you’re looking for something real, comforting and full of flavour, this is the place. Grateful for every visit ❤️
