The Turning Chicken København

This spot is halal, allergy-friendly, and has a great atmosphere with a warm, hospitable owner. It was busy throughout our visit, reflecting its popularity. The chicken bowl, made with rotisserie chicken that’s been recooked as pulled chicken, is the highlight. I added bulgur and coleslaw — the chicken and coleslaw were flavorful but considerably salty, while the lightly chewy bulgur with a neutral taste helped temper the saltiness. To drink, I had the Gazoz grape soda, which was very refreshing.

This place is my favourite take-out restaurant in Copenhagen. The food is always fresh and tasty, the staff is super friendly and the portions are huuuge!

I have come here at least a dozen times for the half chicken plate with fries and the most recent experience was noticeably worse than usual. Typically quite generous with all sauces and salads, but in this instance most was missing and when I went back to the restaurant I was told that the salads were no longer included. Quality of portions and add ons vary whether eating at the restaurant or takeaway

Family of four enjoyed the meal here. The shop really looked after us. The food was tasty. Chicken well seasoned and wasn’t dry. Rice and fries spot on with a side of salad. Will stop over again next time in Copenhagen.

There is a long way to go between success but here in the shop that makes the young man successful I can highly recommend this shop it tastes super good

Highly recommended. The guy who served us was extremely friendly throughout, and made our durums to our liking and enormous. The potatoes were also delicious. Plus, because he must have liked us, he even offered us a takeout portion (which we regretted having to decline, as we were flying back the next morning). If you're in the area, it's a safe bet.
