Super good food and good service

We were in Denmark for just two days to celebrate our son’s wedding in Stevns. At first, we planned to have dinner in Copenhagen, but in the end we decided on a local restaurant near our holiday house to avoid too much driving. We checked it out the day before and made a reservation, though we kept our expectations modest because of some mixed reviews. When we arrived, the restaurant was full. The very kind waiter seated us and immediately apologized for being on his own that evening due to an unexpected staff shortage. He warned us it might take a little longer. With that in mind, we settled in—but things unfolded much better than expected. He soon came to take our drink orders, brought bread, butter, and a delicious homemade relish, and then took our food orders. We chose the signature Colorado steak and the steak béarnaise, both served with potatoes, fries, oven-roasted vegetables, and a salad bar. The steaks were perfect—medium, tender, and juicy. The sauces complemented them beautifully. The vegetables were crisp and full of flavor. Everything was truly delicious and of impressive quality. Throughout the evening, the waiter remained friendly, attentive, and humorous, even though he must have been under quite a bit of pressure. He handled everything with calm and charm. It turned into a lovely evening for all of us, and we can only recommend this restaurant. It must be even nicer in summer with the view of the nearby sea. We’ll definitely have to come back.

Beautiful restaurant, view, service, good food. moderate prices. And there is an ice cream parlor and a cafe. A good place for parties. Definitely worth several visits.

Beautiful view, friendly staff, good food.

By the water and you think like a Jutland oh no there are overpriced especially on the "island" but was positively surprised. Bright and friendly premises, good service and competent service. The menu is on the classic end, no surprises or chrome dishes with phonetic words, inn food is what it is and it is heavy (apart from the salads) and plenty of it. The prices are almost Jutland with the risk of them being raised :-) 5 stars on the "inn scale".

Good food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was a shortage of glasses and refills in the buffet.

The "Colorado Steaks" are amazing 👍😍 The service and the entire atmosphere are simply wonderful. We've been here for two weeks and will definitely be back again.
